Here's what I got from the buyer of an old 25-centavo bill (Mexico) today. I'm puzzling over what "smut" could really mean here, since I sent nothing smutty or even slightly off color to him--just the bill. Any clues?

"Hi Adele.
Thank you very much for the smut transaction and the 25 cents bill.
I received it today in my house and I was very excited.
Has been a pleasure doing business with you and I hope we will do some more business in the future again. Best regards. Carlos A"

I think he meant to write "smooth" but had his mind in the gutter.

Possibly he meant smooth transaction. With all the "stuff" I have bought and sold on Ebay , I have never been lucky enough to be involved in a smut transaction! I am green with envy

I wouldn't get too excited right now. Wait till you see the feedback he leaves for you

Sparkz: Okay, I can see "smooth," but should we all rethink this? I just got his feedback tonight:

"As Advertised. Thanks You BM. Great communication. This is as should be done."

ROFL. Now what could THAT mean?! Berry Much?

And your feedback to him will read " Fast pay. Great communications. Good BS. Highly recommend".

I guess it's probably bueno mucho.

I do give anyone credit who is trying to communicate in a language not his mother tongue. Bless his heart. How many errors would I make if I were trying to e-mail in German (after two whole years of college German) or Latin (two high school years)?

I've had 3 years of Spanish if you need any help. Of course, all three years were Level 1 - Hola Isabel! Como estas? Estoy bien, gracias! Y, tu? Prima! That's about it for my Spanish.
