I am selling stuff for an old lady and she keeps carping how much she or her hubby paid for them and how little she is getting on Ebay!!
I always tell her Ebay is a flea market ,it is a place to liquidate and raise cash fast.
But she made one statement to me the other day -
'So far I have been losing money selling my stuff on Ebay, some days I may wake up with no inventory and no money'
comments please!!

Give her back her inventory and tell her to have a nice day.

Did you really need someone to tell you that or did you just want to be able to say that someone else suggested it?

Let me rephrase the statement. Here is a portion of what I see when I click on the link. I see about 3 pages of this, no pictures.

Fenix.
I asked her to go online and research on Ebay how much everything anything is fetching on Ebay.
Her son is helping her get online now.
The prices fetched on Ebay is really a shame,9.99 for a 16 inches necklace of semi precious stones?? 99 cents for a repro die cast collector's toy truck or car with original box, mint condition??
How is any retailer with store rent and overhead compete?/

This is not rocket science. She is either happy with the prices and you continue to sell or she's not and you don't.

And - the link does not work. You now have three people telling you that. If it is not visable to all browswers, you should not be using it.

image issue discovered - most of your files uploaded to AOL have no file extension. Man browsers ar not going to "assume" what type of file they are supposed to be reading and othe ones that will are going to take awhile. This could have something to do with the low bids although I don't see those beads taking much anyway. There is nothing particularly interesting about them. Give them back to the owner.

Looks like fimo beads to me and if so, the necklaces are worth about 1.99 at any head shop on the beach. If she paid more, then I have a few rare antique Panama City beach souveniers to sell her

show her this search results:

Tribal amber http://tinyurl.com/cy6co

African amber http://tinyurl.com/ck3os

The amber in these necklaces are not gem quality. Her best bet is to try and find a consignment shop selling designer cloths where they may have counter appeal.

I think every one who posts to the Ebay Outlook has made that same statement at one time or another. If she's not seaworthy enough to ride a rollercoaster for the long run, she needs to rent a space at the local flea market where she has full control of her selling prices. You are losing money by taking the time to deal with her when it could be better spent listing your own items.
