I had a buyer dispute a PayPal purchase last month and we have posted messages through the PayPal system, but they have not brought it to a "Claim" status.
Is my understanding of the PayPal rules and regulations, that if the dispute has not been put into a "claim" status (whereas PayPal gets involved and makes the decision on the case) by either buyer or seller, the seller automatically gets their money released after a certain date goes by. I currently have a dispute on my account and PayPal correspondence seems to indicate that if the buyer or seller has not filed a claim, then my funds are released by April 13th. Does that sound accurate? Has anyone else had this particular thing happen and the buyer did not make it a claim so funds were released? HELP!!!

You can go to Paypal site and read the fine details.
The case is automatically closed after 20 days?? if neither party escalate to dispute level.
