Yesterday and for the past few weeks my standing in search has been raised. I had a 5.0, 4.9, 4.8, 4.8. Today, my search has been lowered to standard and my dsr numbers are gone and there is an * that says that my numbers will appear when I've had 10 people leave the dsr's..........I think there's a problem here...I've had hundreds of people leave the dsr ratings and now they've vanished? Anyone else?

I should mention that my 12 month dsr's are showing but not my 30 day which are much higher and even my 12 month numbers are way over eBay's averages. This stinks....Ive lost my advantage in search because of a glitch?

The very same thing happened to me Queen. I reported to LIve Help and they said they would report it. They suggested I call PS support (probably as much help and live help)

That happened to me last week for about 12 hours. Then the numbers re-appeared and I was back to Raised status.

I attributed mine to not having many sales in July as I took a couple of weeks off.

I had something similar. I attribute it to their calculating PS discounts. All of a sudden #s magically disappear. Why does the date upon which they bestow this wonderful discount vary from month to month? Does it have to do with the one day that your DSR fall slightly enough to lower your discount??

I got 20% last month, this month 15%, although every time I checked my dashboard, all of my #s were above 4.8 on the 30 day scale. You cannot go back and check your DSR score on any individual day. They are really playing dirty here.

My sales were so cr*ppy this month it is not really that bid a deal, but there should be some consistency on the day each month that this is calculated.

I've stopped looking at mine as they never make any sense anyway. I got a 20% discount one month and I swear they were never all over 4.8.

Merrie I think they don't want us to be able to track them or understand them.

I don't care a bit about the paltry discount - it's the SEARCH status that matters to me.

Just found this in the AuctionBytes newsletter...

eBay Sellers Report DSR Glitch on Dashboard
By: Ina Steiner
Thu Aug 7 2008 13:15:08
eBay sellers are reporting that their DSRs are plummeting due to a glitch. The Seller Dashboard is reportedly showing incorrect Detailed Seller Ratings, which eBay uses to calculate seller performance discounts.

One discussion thread in which sellers reported the problem disappeared, but another thread remains as of this writing.

One seller wrote to AuctionBytes, "We had a major, mathematically impossible drop overnight in our DSRs and apparently we are not alone."

Another seller wrote, "In a matter of two hours tonight, with only ONE feedback being posted during this time period our 30-Day DSR's dropped by amounts that would be mathematically impossible."

DSRs are tied to seller discounts and to exposure of their listings in search.

There are times when a glitch affects some sellers, but not all, or may be intermittent; if you are having a problem, or if everything seems okay on your seller dashboard, leave a comment.
