eBay banned selling ivory many years ago, but depending on what you have there are some items that you can still sell:
Antiques that contain 5 percent or less of real ivory and were made before the year 1900 – for example:
Musical instruments with ivory keys, such as a flute, a piano, or a trumpet
Furniture with ivory inlay or ivory drawer handles, such as a cabinet, a hutch, or a desk
When selling these items:
Include a picture of the item in your listing
Specify the exact year the item was made and include the info in your listing description
Bone from non-ivory–producing animals (such as bison, buffalo, and oxen) as long as the species is clearly stated in the listing description
Cultured, man-made, or vegetable ivory as long as the listing description specifies what the item is made of

I think you can sell Ivory soap, or the Michael Jackson/Paul McCartney hit single, "Ebony and Ivory"... just not real ivory.

From what I understand you cannot sell Ivory of any kind on eBay now. Not even antique. It will get pulled. Also, if it's bone, you are supposed to know what kind of bone. Sure, that's an easy task. This has been in effect for a couple of months now. This I learned the hard way.

There are still some ivory on Ebay, sellers wont mention the word 'ivory' and bidders hungry for ivory just know these items are ivory and they will email the seller and then bid.
You cant even sell hippo or mammoth ivory anymore, even though hippo grows new teeth every year and mammoth elephants are not endangered specie.

Mammoth ivory? I take it mammoths aren't considered endangered because there are so many of them running around nowadays...

Well,Karen,if you think mammoths are so abundant, may be you can start a breeding farm and harvest their ivory to sell to the Russians!
They need more 'mammoths' to run around in SIBERIA!
