expect this to be a regular event. eBay wants us to believe everything is going just fine... i can take advantage of 50% off all I want, but it still doesn't give buyers an incentive to buy.
sales have been very slow for most categories since the holidays.

I used to have a link that showed a graph of eBay sales by the day or month or year. Anyone have that for me? I imagine it'll be interesting.

Interesting that they are in 7 day intervals. All of the things I listed in the last one run out today, I suppose I could toss them up again, wonder if that is what they wanted? I, of course, will get it in gear and list several more at the half off.
On a side note, did anyone watch 'Hoarders'? That show scares me! Some areas of my house do look a bit disorganized (LOL) so I am also going to apply myself to work on that. I haven't had company in a while and that used to keep me motivated to keep the 'public' areas neatened up, but I have 'lost' the spare bedroom...again.

pmelcher: I have watched Hoarders a few times. A few of them are in fact "hoarders," most of the are just slobs. No one hoards old McDonald hamburger wrappers and has to eat on their bed with their 2 children because the kitchen table is full of crap and the dishes in the sink are ripe with varmints!! Please, throw out trash!!

I'm going to try to get a few more things listed than normal but I still haven't used all my free listings the month. Guess I'd better hurry as this is the last month.

Hmmm, now I understand why all of these 50% off days. My items do NOT sell and then they ask me to relsit and I am paying full price when they don't sell the second time, clever!!

eBay is trying to woo buyers who are waiting for the lower April auction listing fees to list earlier. In my frequent searches, auction counts are down between 30-40%
