"When Vaneisha Robinson bought a diamond studded pendant in the shape of LeBron James' number 23 jersey at a yard sale four years ago, she thought it was costume jewelry."

I was saying to myself, good find. Until I read this:

"The pendant she paid $5 for four years ago is worth nearly $10,000. She's put the jewelry up for sale on eBay."

Where it might have gone for not a whole lot of money if she hadn't put out a press release...

Maybe I'm just a tired old cynic. What do you think? (About the story, not my personality. )

I'd say. With all of the Lebron news circulating and not much of it good, this is just another tarnishing (no pun intended) on him.

As I started reading the article I thought... they can't legally detain her, they cannot block her from leaving. And then my next thought was, "was this ever reported stolen?".

I hope the police get to the bottom of it, and if her story holds water that they prosecute the James family for detaining her and holding her hostage. People with money think they can do things like this without any law enforcement... look at OJ.

If she stole the pendant, or at the very least it was reported stolen, I hope she does what is right. There are many "ifs" in this story, and I hope it gets resolved and she is innocent.
