Hi, all: I have a priority box ready to mail to Japan, but when I go to print a label in PayPal, the U.S. shipping is enabled. I don't know how to adjust that so I can ship overseas. Anyone?

Is this an Ebay item?
Can you start from item page-print a lable.
or Go to USPS website.

I do labels and postage through PayPal most of the time. I can save a couple of dollars on this high $$ postage ($42+) by using PayPal. However, I can't seem to figure out how to get out of the US postage only and into international.

I think what hwahwa is trying to say is if it's an ebay item it should already be set for Japan in paypal.
If it's not an ebay item you may need to call paypal and see if you change to international.

paypal rate should be the same as USPS rate on its own site.
both at a discount compared to bringing it into your local post office.
But if you have a Paypal debit card ,you can use it at USPS website, get the same postal discount rate as Paypal and also a rebate from Paypal for using your debit card as a credit card.
This rebate is from Paypal,1-1 1/2 % discount.
I think Bill uses his card on USPS website,I go shopping with my card for grocery, gas etc/
Last month I received 35 dollars rebate.
I also use it to pay Ebay.

PayPal tells me that, since this is not an eBay item I'm shipping, I cannot use international shipping. I've never used USPS to print a label but I've never opted into that service.

By the way, there is talk on the PayPal message boards that PayPal is giving the shipping-label process back to eBay to deal with.

I am not surprised,Ebay has big plan for Paypal to expand on land,so it does not want our traffic.
There is a recent article on Visa and Visa is saying they face some competition from cyber providers such as Paypal,it does not want them to go outside its infrastructure to process payments.

shipping via click n ship is very easy... the only thing I don't like is having to enter info line by line. I like it when I can simply cut and paste the address right into the form or even better when it is auto-filled for me. other than that, i have no problems using click n ship...

my favorite thing about click is that you get the online discount and you also have limited indemnity coverage for your packages. you can always cover it for more.

Question about click-n-ship: Does it cost anything to use? Do we get the same discount on shipping? Is there up-front money to pay? Etc. I've never seriously considered it, because I've liked shipping out of my PayPal account. Now I'm ready to think differently.

click is free and you get the same discount.

it is basically like buying shipping through paypal... just a bit different. the printing method is a bit different too, but nothing that should turn you away.

i like it for international b/c of the indemnity coverage that is automatically applied and you are given choices of services in a menu once you enter weight/dimensions. After choosing the service you want, you also can add other services like insurance, registered mail, etc.

and DC is included as it is on Paypal.

and if you use paypal debit card as a credit card and you have premier or business account with paypal, you get 1- 1 1/2 % rebate from Paypal.
so you said you are spending 42 dollars ,then your rebate can be as high as 63 cents.
