Can any carnival glass expert out there in vendio-land identify this compote? It's got a leaf design around the inside and a ruffled rim. The base is slightly twisted. The irridescence is very strong and almost looks "gold". There are no marks and my reference books are very limited. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry I don't know but it is very nice. I would think the color is more rare than some colors but I'm not a collector.
Someone will know - I hope.

Thanks, ebabe...I hope so too! When the pattern and maker are both unknown, it's REALLY difficult to do research. There are some real pros on this board so hope someone can help...It really is a lovely piece!

Hi Blueyes
Please check out this site
http://carnivalglass101.carnivalheaven.com/
I was looking for your piece here but there is just so much to look at.
As I was doing that I came across a water set I have for many, many years and never was able to ID it.
Well, this site showed me the picture and the name of my set so at least now I have a base to do more research with. Mine turned out to be Northwood Water Set, Grape Arbor in White.
I hope you take the time to search each page (there are lots of pages to look through)

Thanks, toni...I'll give it a go and see what I can find. I checked out the "Wreath of Roses" and mine looks just a little different. It is just like the one that was listed but a maker/pattern wasn't given in that listing either. Appreciate the help...and congrats on finding your set!
