I cannot find a table on USPS site that gives insurance rates. I need to ship something to Thailand and have to have the insurance costs in the invoice I send. The item brought $175. Anyone? ~Adele

Adele - went to the usps site and went to home and in the blank space, I just put in INSURANCE THAILAND and here is what came up. Hope this helps https://www.usps.com/search.htm?q=INSURANCE%20TO%20THAILAND

Yes, on any item of value I send internationally, I calculate the postage on the USPS site, then read what amount of insurance is included for the stated weight. If that is not enough to cover it, I click add additional services, on that page, you click insurance, put in amount & viola, insurance amount is revealef.

This may be OT,but I shipped an Express Mail package to Canada ,picked up on Feb 23 and it exited Canadian customs yesterday and will be delivered today,so that does not sound like express mail?

Hwahwa: that sounds like my experiences, also. I have never shipped international express, but priority is pretty slow, also compared to when the PO website says it will be delivered & the high cost.
