Is there any way we can add sales tax to Ebay checkout for BIN items?
If not,is Ebay working on it?

thanks,I found it.\
For those of you wondering why you are getting more Texan buyers, well here may be a reason why-

Last month some one from the state called me and asked me if I have been collecting sales tax and I said I dont recall having anyone from TX buying from me.
She said someone reported me ,so from now on I have to charge sales tax and it aint cheap.8 1/2 % is what I will be charging from now on.probably the other Tx SELLERS are doing it already.

WOW can't believe someone reported you for not charging them sales tax. I would think it had to be a customer.
I collect and pay Florida Sales tax but I bet there are tons of sellers who don't brother.

As I tell my customers: We do not charge sales tax. We collect it.

Not collecting sales tax is really playing with fire these days. Many states are sending out sales tax bloodhounds on audits of small business so that they can get every possible penny plus fines. Naturally they go after the small business owners, not the large ones, since the small ones are more prone to make errors on laws that they don't know about or not have proper paper trails.
It can be so time consuming and tedious keeping up with the paperwork, that many people just don't do it and hope for the best. I have seen the wreckage multiple times and take care to collect on every taxable sale. Big Brother is everywhere these days.
