I have shipped a few packages this week via USPS from Paypal (which now uses eBay shipping), as well as update tracking information in eBay for a piece of furniture shipped via Greyhound. None of those items are showing as shipped in Paypal.

my point is... if sellers are supposed to maintain shipping info within a day of payment, the system is failing them.

this is another reason why I won't fall for eBay's trickery on the FVF discount rules. I really don't care about updating info within a day... even though I have done so for the most part. I won't offer returns for our items and I don't think I should spend time calling eBay complaining about their poor shipping system that is screwing me over.

I just checked my Paypal account(anything sold on Ebay I used Ebay shipping),if you clicked on the transaction for more details, the tracking number from Ebay shipping is recorded, check to see if this is the case for you.
I dont know about Greyhound tracking, you have to ask Paypal.

why should you care if the DC is not showing up on Paypal as long as it is showing up on MY EBAY.
It is Ebay which wants us to upload DC within 24 hours, not Paypal

Great question- If a buyer does a chargeback it goes through Paypal.

Additionally, I printed the USPS labels starting in Paypal. Paypal transferred me to eBay shipping to print the labels and then returned to Paypal after the label was complete. It normally updates the shipping details in both eBay and Paypal when done through Paypal, while if I enter shipping information through eBay it will not update Paypal.

I prefer using paypal for the correct shipping information because they buyer can change the ship to address in eBay which can lead to headaches. My listings state I only use Paypal confirmed addresses. Rather be safe than sorry.

If a dispute originates from Ebay,Paypal would ask the buyer to have it resolved on Ebay, not Paypal.
Paypal no longer settles Ebay disputes.
Yes,if it were a chargeback,Paypal will direct it to Ebay and let Ebay handles it.

Come to think of it,overseas chargeback can be 6 months later,by then I am not sure if USPS keeps the tracking information?
