My assistant did this on an international label. When she tried to pay and print another one she got a message stating she had reached her limit on labels and needed to void the label. Well it was already voided???
I called ebay and CS told me that from now on out if you void a label in ebay, you have to wait until you get reimbursed from the post office to do another one. So much for one day shipping.
I tried to go to paypal and couldn't print it there either - no option.
You can only do it at the USPS website or go to the post office and do it. Either way you must upload the tracking yourself.
You would think ebay might have sent out a notice for this.

You still may not be able to upload the tracking manually.
I voided a label on Monday, as the customer bought something else and hoped to combine shipping. In the past this just meant I would manually upload the same tracking number for the first item after printing a new label for the second, but the option to upload was gone. Just a drop down option to cancel the whole transaction, I guess because I had voided the shopping label.
No way to upload the new tracking number on either eBay or Paypal. I wasn't about to devote an hour to working around it and decided to take my chances.
Thanks for your posting...at least now I know I cannot accomodate my customers in this way if the label has already been printed...once again, eBay makes it harder for all concerned.

I was thinking about just adding postage at the P.O., but wasn't sure it was "allowed".
Next time that is what I will do though.

Yes, just take it to the post office with the amount of the original cost of the maount you paid and weight (if you do not show cost on the label).

They will refigure it, add it in stamps, and send it on for you.

By the way, has anyone noticed how much slower the label process is now compared to before?

Your right wgonzales - I see no place to upload the information.

This is no big deal on my jewelry ID as I'm 100% (or was) on uploading tracking in time.
But on my main ID I sell higher ticket items but not that many a month. If I miss doing one in time - it could cost me my TRS.

I wander if you need to void a label if you go ahead and do a second label 1st and then void the original one - if that would work.

I did it after all.
If you go to My Ebay sold items, at the bottom it says add tracking. Check the item
and click add tracking and it lets you add another tracking number.
But yikes does ebay make it hard to follow their rules or what.

Thanks, ebabe!

We really have to be Holmesian sometimes with eBay. Good job!
