Our shipping cost is $68 via Priority Mail (No GSP) to UK.
Buyer sends me an offer, but wants me to match another sellers shipping price of $26.65.
Hmm... I know better. I find the seller's item and see that they are using GSP. Quoted price $26.65... BUT, there is also the $35+ in other fees. I also suspect that the seller didn't enter the proper weight or dimensions AND the fees don't include the USA shipping the other seller charges.
In the end, what I can see for fees is just a few dollars below mine, so I said I would match that shipping price. No response.
I just found it funny and thought I would share. Nice try though, eh?

Does the buyer know he has to pay more than the $26 somthing with the other seller?
UK revised customs fee is rather high.
I sold an item $45 plus $8.95 shipping to UK,the buyer paid 12 pounds for custom duty

The shipping quote for the other seller is on the listing and does show the customs charges if they look at the details. Unless GSP is not using USPS Priority and shipping themselves, the item cannot be shipped for under $50 (excluding customs) which leaves me to believe that the other seller miscalculated the box size and weight. Obviously, that isn't my problem to deal with.
My shipping is an estimate and may be 1 pound more than the actual shipping weight. We don't pack until it is purchased.
I find it amusing that an international buyer found a useful way to use GSP. Fortunately, I do my research and know the real costs of shipping to the UK.

I was under the impression that the buyer will also be charged the USA shipping fees to the GSP center if the seller charges USA shipping fees.
Is that correct? and if so, where do those charges get added?
