I heard Ebay UK will impose a 180 days return policy ,could be for some categories.
Have anyone heard something similar with Ebay-USA?

Half a year is a pretty long time to have a Buyer Protection policy in place with the amount of buyer fraud running rampant.

I wonder if this is a new merchant processing thing. I know my Chase credit card and American Express cards have buyer protections in place including an extended warranty that will double the manufacturers warranty up to 2 years.

I have never used it, but I always buy any electronics with my credit card because of it. I have no idea how they implement such a program, if it affects the merchant in any way, or what happens. I think the warranty is part of an insurance policy that includes rental insurance, etc.

One thing to consider is that this policy may affect USA sellers who offer items to UK buyers and would also affect sellers who use Paypal on their own websites, Etsy, etc.

I bet it even affects any Paypal payments using the merchant app to swipe cards with your mobile phone.

I heard of Ebay holiday return policy for Ebay USA,it better not be 180 days.
I also heard Ebay has dismantled its GSP support staff, could they be dismantling GSP program as well??
It seems Ebay sellers are just opting for GSP to ship anything without understanding country restrictions, size and weight,US export restriction and not giving enough information on customs declarations.
Seller using GSP to ship an old Polaroid camera with no country of origin,it did not meet USA export criteria so it was not shipped overseas.
Someone shipped 13 guitars to different countries, all are rejected by GSP.
