Hi everyone! I had the worst scariest nightmare of my life a few nights ago related to the World Trade Center Tragedy. Has anyone else had one too, or am I just listening to too many news stories about it.
Also before it happened I had a weird dream about smoke rising from many places in the fall leaves on the ground and it disturbed me greatly. When I saw ground zero from the air it looked just like my dream, only the leaves were really rubble. Is it possible I could have dreamt about it before it happened? These are my "up past my bedtime thoughts", and I wanted to see if I was the only one.

I never had really scary nightmares till I became a father. Now I have these very disturbing nightmares on occassion. Last week I dreamed I dropped the baby in the toilet and flushed her. I could just see the top of her head at the back of the toilet. I was torn between trying to rip the toilet off the floor or trying to see if I could get some sort of grip on her head without pushing her on down the drain. All the while I was wondering how much air she had left and what I'd tell my wife. I finally reasoned that my child was much to large to flush and I was having a nightmare.
No nightmares about terrorist here. I think they'd be a relief compared to the nightmares I have had involving my baby.

Your dreams about the baby are normal for a conscientious new parent, uaru. Mine was about them falling out of the car, even though they were strapped in car seats all the time, or losing them somewhere.
I've been having dreams lately, but not about the terrorists. With the investment business so slow right now, my dreams have been about having to go back to teaching!

I have been dreaming about war and being back in the military, nothing bloody or scary enough to wake me up though.
Although for a lot of people going back in the army would constitute a nightmare, I don't consider it a nightmare unless it leaves me feeling scared.
I guess I am more concerned than afraid during the day time so it is showing up that way in my dream life too.
