Saw this topic on the news today. We are already back into deficit spending. A tax cut is not in the countrys best interests. Tax cuts only increased the deficit when Reganomics was in vogue. Same thing is happening now. This is a cycle. Republicans get into office reduce taxes, increase spending and give us huge deficits. Then Democrats get into office reduce spending, increase taxes to pay for all the crap the Republicans borrowed money to do. We end up with a surplus only to have a republican get in there and start the cycle over again. Sickening.

It was all horseshit to begin with! The only reason that we were running a surplus was because we were collecting interest on the social security surplus itself. By Talking Big as Republicans always do and getting themselves elected on the Cut-Taxes platform when they don't have the slightest idea of how the economy works, American voters are stupid enough every time to vote for them -- since they don't have any more knowledge about how the economy works!
Now the Democrats are having to bail-out George Bush! That's right: they're ending up having to bail him out of the trouble that he got himself (and us) into. George Bush simply can't do what Clinton did do, and that was to say, "I'm Sorry -- I was Wrong to do that". George Bush is far, far beneath Clinton!!
So Bush won't say he's sorry and go fix the thing. And fellow Republicans in Congress, who were all on the Tax-Cut bandwagon - they can't say they're sorry either! So, it's left up to the Democrat to bail BushyShitHole out and get rid of that tax package that has derailed our economy!
And do you think for one instant that Bush is GRATEFULL to the Democrats for pulling his burning ass out of the fire? Nope! He's going EVRERYWHERE, Bashing the Democrats as Tax-Raisers because they are bailing him out of trouble! THAT'S the double-standard treatment we can all expect from ANYONE who declares themselves to be a Republican! Decent people should not be Republicans, because none of their leaders are!
