If you have the time, please email this to anyone you know. Thanks everyone! It's for Ryan:

Please Spread the Word:

As President of the Cleveland Indians Booster Club- The Wahoo Club I am entitled to a Ceremonial First Pitch prior to a 2005 Cleveland Indians Game

A good friend of mine- Bob Reiff contacted me to tell me that his 1-1/2 Year Old Grandson Ryan Frye has recently been diagnosed with Leukemia.

Consequently in my quest to help out Baby Ryan- I am donating my Ceremonial First Pitch slated for the August 31st, 2005 Indians/Tigers Game at Jacobs Field.

We are going to Auction off the Ceremonial First Pitch- and 100% of the Proceeds will go directly to Ryan Frye's Family for his Medical Bills and expenses. Please submit your Bids to:

[email protected]

We will close the bidding at 12:00 PM on August 15, 2005

We are also accepting donations of checks or memorabilia/event tickets
gift certificates/etc. that we can Auction off. Please make your checks payable to: Ryan Frye.

We would GREATLY appreciate it if you could spread the word to any potential bidders or donors.

Sincerely,

Bob Rosen

Way to go, Cheryl! I hope it's very successful. How's Ryan doing?

KD

He's not doing very well. Although he is now growing his own marrow, he has developed a rare fungal infection in his blood. They are trying the last antibiotic on it now. It's spread to his skin causing a yeast infection on the skin. They're trying to keep it from spreading to his vital organs which can be fatal. Thank you for asking.

It all seems so unfair when a little boy has to go through one ordeal after another. I think of little preemie babies you could fit in your palm and how they survive against all odds, so there's always hope. My heart goes out to your family every day, Cheryl.

We could all learn a lesson from the way they handle adversity! They haven't yet learned how to moan and complain. It's too bad that they do learn that.
