Rev. Al Sharpton Plans to Join 'Peace Mom'
AP - Thu Aug 25,10:26 PM ET
NEW YORK - The Rev. Al Sharpton plans to join peace activist Cindy Sheehan, known as the Peace Mom, on Sunday near President Bush's Texas ranch. Sharpton's office said Thursday he would participate in a prayer vigil Sunday with Sheehan in Crawford, Texas. Sheehan returned on Wednesday to Camp Casey, named after her 24-year-old son, Army Spc. Casey Sheehan, who was killed last year in Iraq.

Oh this will add respectability

I agree. He will make it a three ring circus. Maybe he feels he's been out of the spotlight too long. Perhaps he should go on one of those has-been reality shows. I think it's called "The Surreal Life", but not certain.

No, not one bit. He and jesse jackson, imo, use these type of demonstrations to gain more publicity for themselves. Respectability?? Never.

Didn't Michael Moore go to Crawford to see Mrs Sheehan also?

Linda! I was going to say just that, watch Jesse Jackson go there too.

I understand Sharpton. Thing is, is he really a Christian Rev. ? (I do know that Jackson finally make it 'legal' on his Rev status, not too long ago)

To really grab the respectability theme maybe the great Pat Robertson should show up ! He could give a speech recommending who should be killed next...and then have a little prayer service.
