  • How do I open a Vendio Store?
    To open a Vendio Store, login, click the Vendio Stores Tab, then click the 'Try Risk Free' button. From here, follow the steps outlined below:

    • If you do not have a credit card on file, you will be prompted to enter one.
    • On the following page, click the 'Launch Stores Wizard' button. Go through the Stores Wizard and enter all necessary information (note that information already entered in your preferences will be pre-filled).
    • When you are finished, click the 'Done' button.
    *Note that selecting the 'Closed for renovation' radio button will not result in your Store subscription being canceled. To cancel your Vendio Store, click on the My Account link at the top of the page, then click on the My Service Plans link. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, where you will see a link to cancel your subscription.

  • How much does a Vendio Store cost?
    Currently, the Stores payment plans available are:

    Stores Bronze Plan, which is $4.95 per month and includes a 1% per item ($4.95 max) final sale fee.

    Stores Silver Plan, which is $9.95 per month, and does not include a final sale fee, but includes a $0.20 per item listing fee.

    Stores Gold Plan, which is $14.95 per month, and does not include a final sale fee, but includes a $0.10 per item listing fee.

  • How can I edit my Store information after the Vendio Store is active?
    To edit your Vendio Store, login, and click the Vendio Stores Tab. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to the Customize Your Store section. Use the 'Edit Properties', 'Edit Categories', and 'Add Items to Categories' links to enter the Store Wizard, where you can change your Store colors, company/personal logos, company/personal information, payment information and more.

    Keep in mind that bold fields are required. Non bold fields, such as your company tagline, are optional and can be left blank. Any changes you make here will be reflected immediately in your Vendio Store.

  • What are Buy Now listings?
    Buy Now listings are items you wish to sell at a fixed price. Any buyer can purchase your Buy Now listings directly from your Store.

  • How do I create and/or edit the Buy Now listings in my Vendio Store?
    To post new items to your Vendio Store, login, and click the Vendio Stores Tab. In the left navigation bar, click on 'Create Store Item'.

    Another option is to go directly to your Vendio Inventory and to complete the Store section when creating a new item or editing an existing item. Once you click the 'Add Item' or 'Save Item' button, the Fixed Price item will immediately appear in your Store.

    The online Vendio Inventory is the central management place for all of your Vendio Store items. Simply open the Inventory Item to change the price, edit the quantity, or adjust any detail for your Store Listing. Changes to the Item on your Store will be made instantly after you click the 'Add Item' or 'Save Item' button.

    Once you have created and submitted Vendio Store items, they will appear there immediately.

  • Can I add images to an item in my Vendio Store?
    You can add images to a Vendio Store item by editing the corresponding Inventory item. At this time, you can only attach up to 4 images to an Inventory item.

  • How do I remove an item from my Vendio Store?
    To remove an item from your Vendio Store, please take the following steps:

    • Login, click the Sales Manager Tab, then click on Inventory in the left navigation bar.
    • Click on the title of the Inventory item you want to remove from your Store.
    • Scroll down to the Store section and change your 'Qty in Store' value to zero.
    • Save your Inventory item by clicking the 'Save' button on the bottom of the page.
    Your item should no longer be viewable in your Vendio Store. If you still see the item in your Store, make sure you refresh the page.

    Note that you cannot remove an auction item from your Vendio Store without actually closing the auction at the venue. Auction items are automatically imported, so they cannot be removed manually.

  • How can I import my auctions into my Vendio Store?
    Any auctions launched through Vendio will automatically be imported into your Vendio Store. Note that it takes approximately 2 hours for your newly launched auctions to appear in your Store, and that the auctions will appear in the Auction Gallery category.

    Note that the Auction Gallery is separate from fixed-price items. You cannot move an auction from the Auction Gallery into a fixed-price category. Buyers can access your Gallery by clicking the "Gallery" banner in your auction listings, or directly from your Store by clicking the Auction Gallery category.

  • Why are my auctions not appearing in my Vendio Store?
    If your auctions don't appear in your Vendio Store right away, please wait a few hours and check again. It takes our system approximately 2 hours to import recently launched auctions into your Vendio Store.

    Note that only auctions launched through Vendio Sales Manager, Inventory, Sales Manager Pro, or Sales Manager Business Edition will automatically be added to your Vendio Store.

  • How do I create and/or edit my Vendio Store categories?
    To create custom categories for your Vendio Store items, login, click the Vendio Stores Tab, and click on Edit Categories in the left navigation bar. On the Edit Categories page, click 'New' to create a new category. You can be as specific as you like, in order to make it easier for your buyers to find the products they want. Note that each category has a name and a description; the name is limited to 32 characters but the description is longer and will not be seen by your customers.

    Your categories can be edited using the same Edit Categories page - just select the category and click 'Edit'.

    Store categories can also be created as you create a new listing or Inventory item. You will see the option to create a new category in the Inventory and Store section of the listing form.

    Note that auctions will automatically be imported into the Auction Gallery, and sorted by auction site. The Auction Gallery will appear beneath the fixed-price Store Categories in your Vendio Store.

  • How do I move an item into the correct Vendio Store category?
    You may move your items to and from Store Categories by clicking the 'Move' button on the top toolbar in Inventory. Select the item, click 'Move', and you will be able to place your item in any Inventory Folder or Store Category.

  • What is the difference between an Inventory folder and a Vendio Store category?
    An inventory folder is visible only to you. Inventory folders are intended to allow you to arrange your Inventory in such a way that you are able to easily locate your items in Inventory.

    Store categories will allow you to organize your fixed-price items in a customized category list. These catgories will be visible to your customers as they browse your Store.

  • Can I change the titles of the Store tabs?
    The Store tab titles are permanent and cannot be changed at this time.

  • How do I include a link in my auctions to my Vendio Store?
    To add a link in your auctions to your Vendio Store, login, click the Vendio Stores Tab, and select the 'Promote and Increase traffic to my Store. Include a Store banner in all of my auctions' checkbox.

    When you are finished, click the 'Save Changes' button. A 'View My Gallery' banner will now appear in your new listings.

  • Are eBay Store items included in my Vendio Store?
    Yes, your eBay store items will be included in your Vendio Store. They will appear in the separate eBay Auction Gallery along with your eBay Listings.

  • Are Vendio Stores links compliant with eBay regulations?
    The Vendio Gallery link is in compliance with eBay regulations because of the "2-click" rule. The link provides access from your eBay auctions to the eBay auctions Gallery in your Store. Your customers can click to browse your other items after, but the initial landing page from the Gallery link in your eBay auctions will contain only eBay items.

    Note that this is the case only when your Store is accessed from an eBay auction. If your customer types in your Store URL, they will see a sampling of all items, not just your eBay auctions.

    Note also that eBay forbids more than one Gallery link in an auction, or any promotional wording that would lead your eBay customers to your fixed-price items. Inserting an additional Store link and/or text pointing to your Vendio Store may result in your auctions being ended by eBay.

  • How do I cross-sell items in my Vendio Store?
    For each item in your inventory, you can list up to four additional items to be displayed at Checkout. For example, if you sell photography equipment and have a buyer purchasing a camera (either via auction, or by adding it to their cart in your store), you can "upsell" them an appropriate tripod, case, and film. You can even offer the extra items at a discount if they're purchased at the same time. If a buyer purchases something that you have set up cross sell items for, when they are on the View Cart page right before checkout, those items will appear at the bottom with their appropriate discounts. Keep in mind these are only valid if purchased with the original item -- if they delete the original item, then the item from the cross sell section will be sold to them at the original price.

  • How do I search Vendio Stores for a specific item?
    If you would like to search Vendio Stores, login, and click the Vendio Stores Tab. In the left navigation bar, click on Search Stores. Enter your search terms, and click the 'Go' button.

  • How do I create and manage my Vendio Store mailing list?
    You can enable the ability for buyers to sign up for your Store mailing list through the "Other Details" link in your Store Wizard. A sign up box will then appear on your Store, on the left hand side, underneath the list of Store categories your items are under.

    Anyone who signs up will automatically be added to a folder in your Customer Management list titled "Store Mailing List." To get to your Customer Management section, open up Sales Manager and select the Customers link. From there, choose Store Mailing List in the Display Options section and click the Display Results button to view your list of interested customers.

  • How much does a Vendio Store cost?
    Vendio Stores offer the best value at the lowest prices in the industry. To review our Vendio Stores pricing plans, please click here. To select a Vendio Stores plan, login, click on the My Account link at the top of the page, then click on the My Service Plans link. Scroll down to Stores and click on the 'see other plans' link.

  • How do I temporarily close my Vendio Store?
    If you would like to temporarily close your Vendio Store, login, and click the Vendio Stores button on the left navigation bar. Select the 'Closed for Renovation' radio button, and click the 'Save Changes' button. This will allow you to make changes to your Vendio Store and will prevent your customers from viewing the Store until you are ready to reopen it.

    To cancel your Vendio Store, login, click on the My Account link at the top of the page, then click on the My Service Plans link. The "discontinue" link should appear at the bottom of the page.
