How do I sign up for Vendio Gallery? To sign up for Vendio Gallery, simply click here to choose the plan that best suits your needs.
Please note: In order for your Vendio Gallery to function properly, you must have your eBay credentials stored with Vendio. To enter your eBay credentials at Vendio, login, click on the My Account link located at the top of the page, then click on the Auction Site Accounts link. If your most up-to-date eBay information is not displayed, follow the instructions on the page to enter it.
-
How can I save on expensive marketplace fees by using Vendio Gallery?Use Vendio Gallery to cross-promote your eBay Store items, which are listed at a fracton of the price of your auction items.
Try listing only the auction items that consistently receive the most bids and the highest selling prices (your hottest items), then showcase your eBay Store items (colder items) in these high traffic listings with a Vendio Gallery. This method not only increases sell-through for your eBay Store items, but saves you dramatically on listing fees for every Store item sold.
-
What's the difference between Vendio Gallery and the gallery that is shown in my Vendio Store?Your Auction Gallery page, which is displayed in your Vendio Store, includes all your live eBay auction and eBay Store items. The Auction Gallery page is linked from your eBay listings, and allows buyers to click from the Auction Gallery page to your other Vendio Store categories, where they may purchase a Vendio Store item listed at a fraction of the price.
Your Vendio Gallery appears in all of your eBay auction and eBay Store listings, and provides buyers with an eye-catching display of your other items for sale on eBay (including both eBay and eBay Store items). Instead of driving buyers to your Vendio Store Auction Gallery page, your Vendio Gallery drives buyers to your other eBay auction and Store items.
-
Which items will be imported and displayed in my Vendio Gallery?Your Vendio Gallery will import and display all of your currently live items on eBay, including those in your eBay Store. This maximizes the cross-promotion of your other items for sale, especially those in your eBay Store, which are listed at a fraction of the price of your auction items.
Depending on the Gallery style that you choose, your Vendio Gallery will display all of these items, in order of relevance to the currently-viewed item, in sets of 3, 4, 7 or 24 at a time.
-
Why are my eBay Store items imported and displayed in my Vendio Gallery?Your Vendio Gallery imports and displays all of your live eBay items, including those in your auctions and in your eBay Store. This helps maximize the cross promotion of your eBay Store items, which are listed at a fraction of the price of your auction items.
-
Can I display my Vendio Gallery on my personal or business website?Yes, your Vendio Gallery can be displayed on your personal website(s). To obtain the Gallery code, login, and click on the My Account link at the top of the page. Click on the Gallery Settings link, and scroll down to the bottom of the page to the Placement section. Select the 'Do not automatically insert. I'll insert myself' radio button, and click the 'generate the HTML code' link. Copy the code that appears in the pop-up window and paste it into any website creation interface that will accept HTML/Javascript.
-
How often is the information in my Vendio Gallery updated?Vendio Gallery information updates are generally done once every hour. Note that at times it may take up to two hours for an update to be reflected in your Gallery depending on the timing of an event vs. an update.
-
I have decided to change the style of my Gallery. Can I change the Gallery style in my active listings? If you change the Gallery style in your settings, the change will only apply to listings launched after you update your preferences. For active listings, you would need to replace the existing Gallery code with new Gallery code. We do not recommend doing this unless you are very familiar with HTML/Javascript.
-
I’m relisting something – can I add my Gallery to the relist?Your Gallery will be added to your relists automatically as long as you have signed up and set your preferences.
-
In what order do my Gallery items appear?Your Vendio Gallery will display items that are closest to closing first (this will allow for last minute bidding).
-
Can I change the size of my Gallery? At this time, the Gallery size cannot be adjusted. If your Gallery is larger than you would like, you might want to try another style, such as Marquee or Basic, or position your Gallery under your listings instead of on top.
-
What happens if I change my eBay user information or cancel my Gallery subscription? If you change your user information at eBay, you must also update the information on file at Vendio. If you fail to update your eBay credentials at Vendio, the Vendio Galleries in your current listings will show the last set of items the importer was able to obtain, and will not update until you provide Vendio with your new eBay credentials. To update your eBay credentials at Vendio, login, click on the My Account link at the top of the page, then click on the Auction Site Accounts link. Follow the instructions on the page to update your eBay credentials.
If you cancel your Vendio Gallery subscription, the Vendio Gallery in your currently active listings will appear faded, with no item information, and only a link for buyers to see your other listings. Your Vendio Gallery will not be attached to any of your future listings.
-
I've signed up for Vendio Gallery, but it's not appearing in my listings or some items are missing. What is going on?It takes a few hours for Vendio to import your Vendio Gallery, including the item information and images, into all of your live listings. As a result, there may be a delay of up to two hours before your Vendio Gallery is fully propagated throughout your listings, or before all of your item information and images are imported successfully.
If your Vendio Gallery has not been imported into your listings successfully after a reasonable amount of time, some of the reasons may include:
- Your eBay credentials are not valid or have not been entered on our site. To double-check the information you have stored on our site, login, click on the My Account link at the top of the page, then click on the Auction Site Accounts link. Follow the instructions on the page to update or enter your eBay information, if neccessary.
- You may be listing on eBay UK or another international site. Note that Vendio is only compatible with eBay US at this time.
-
Why are my eBay Motors items not appearing in my Vendio Gallery in regular listings? At this time, your Vendio Gallery will display only eBay Motors items in your eBay Motors listings, while your non-eBay Motors items will have Galleries that display your other, non-eBay Motors listings. This targets Motors-related items to eBay Motors buyers and non-Motors-items to non-Motors buyers.
-
Why do I have to download software to view a Vendio Gallery?Vendio Gallery utilizes Macromedia Flash to display your items quickly and efficiently, while using a minimum of system resources.
If you are attempting to view a Vendio Gallery from a system that does not have Flash installed, or has an outdated version (lower than 6.0), you will be prompted to install or update the application. The installation process is very quick, and once it’s installed you should be able to view Vendio Gallery without any problems. If you choose not to install Flash, you will still be able to view the listing, just not the Vendio Gallery.

How do the Gallery fees work? There are currently three Vendio Gallery pricing plans.
- The Silver plan is $2.95 per month and includes 100 items, with a $0.05 per-item fee for additional items within a billing cycle.
- The Gold plan is $6.95 per month, and includes 200 items, with a $0.03 per-item fee for additional items within a billing cycle.
- If you list over 500 items per week, you may be eligible for a special pricing plan. Click here to request more information.
When you activate your Vendio Gallery, all of your active eBay listings (auctions and eBay Store items) will be imported into your Gallery, enabling maximum exposure and cross-sell opportunities. At the end of your billing cycle, the total items will be calculated, and the charges for additional items will be applied.

How do I make sure Gallery uses my correct Item Images?First, consider where you tend to place your item images in your listings. Do you use eBay's Gallery feature or their Header Image feature? Do you always place your logo as the first image, before the item's picture?
Second, go to your Gallery Settings page. Login, click on the My Account link at the top of the page, then click on the Gallery Settings link. Scroll down to the Item Image section, and carefully select the first, second and third-choice locations where you would like the Gallery importer to look for appropriate item images in your listings. By default, the Gallery importer will look for an item image in a listing by looking in the following locations, in this order:
- eBay Gallery Image: this is the image that appears in eBay search results next to the titles of items. When you list your items, you can choose to have an eBay Gallery image for an additional fee. If the Gallery importer does not find an image in this location, then it will, by default, look in the next location.
- eBay Header Image: this is the image that is displayed at the top of your eBay listings page, just beneath the title and to the left of the current bid and seller information areas. Please click here for an example.
Please note: eBay inserts a small, transparent placeholder image in this location for any items that do not have a Header Image, which the Gallery importer could mistake as an item image. Therefore, if you do not use eBay Header Images on a regular basis, we recommend you eliminate this from your set of 1st, 2nd or 3rd choices. - Lastly, by default, if the Gallery importer has not yet found an item image, it will parse through your item description to identify the 1st image and use that. By providing additional details about your image hosting provider, you can help ensure that the Gallery importer is identifying the correct images.
-
Does Vendio Gallery support eBay Stock Photos?YES, Vendio Gallery can now identify and import eBay Stock Photos (available for items that have Pre-filled Item Information, such as books and DVD's).
