Thanks for the excerpt. That very phenomenon is why I don't read all the wise and wonderful works of religion. I did research enough of them and their beginnings to make a sound decision for myself. Traced back to the beginning some religions were easy to NOT claim for myself as they have very human beginnings.
In fact, I don't claim a religion. I call myself Christian according to the definition, and then follow my spiritual leadings.

As jt pointed there are varying levels of persecution and personally I don't feel persecuted. I was referring to some comments that have been made throughout this thread directed at Christianity in general, not me personally. I have experienced much, much worse within discussions such as this.
Actually, I am a whimp and therefore don't intend to go through the tribulation. (Just poking fun at myself.)

Did I post it to another board? No - I don't go to any other boards. I just liked it and thought a few others might too. I not interested in "saving" anybody. Forget it.
