Sorry, ExecutiveGirl!
I'm with you: I want Will to go tonight, but I'm afraid he won't.
These people need to get away from one another; I've never seen as much ill-bred, irrational behavior as I have in the last week. I felt for Bunky when he was attacked after having asked ever-so-politely that the girls lower their voices when he was trying to sleep.

Welcome to the thread Wisegirl. I clicked on page three and the first post I see is EGs with her OH NO. Thought what in the world??? Went back (to page 2) to see what was going on....thanks for the bulletin. The show comes on here at 8:00 PM here but will repeat at 11:00. So, hopefully if the 8 o'clock cannot be viewed in total, maybe the 11 o'clock one will be.
Also, I for one, am glad to read your comments on this set of houseguests. My husband and I keep looking at one another with amazement. Wondering if anyone has any manners anymore, tries to bite their tongue when upset, or has any consideration for people other than themselves. Maybe it's because they can't get away from one another. Lack of any sort of privacy would be hard for me in this situation too. But I would hope I could still be civil with others.

Right on lindak. Those people are really a bunch of snakes, dont you think? Really, it amazes me how I keep switching what I feel for one or the other as the shows come on. Each time, something nasty shows up in one I thought was ok.

Sure SaraAW - Everyone's welcome. I was impressed with Kent. While he is morally against the gay lifestyle, he was able to strike up (what appeared at the time to be) a close relationship with Bunky. I'd guess Bunky's vote probably hurt him the most.
Hep - On who Monica will nominate....She once said that she wanted Will out, but of course we see how what any of them say, changes almost daily.
I lothe Will the most. He admits he tells approx. 150 lies a day. But what bothers me is that most in the group doesn't seem to recognize this. I know they're just 'playing the game' but like now Nicole seems to think he's her best bud. Grrrrr. But then, maybe she's playing him too. So....they deserve each other, IMO.
Oh, and then there's Krista....with Hardy covering her back....what she said about him last night. Stabbing him in his back. Nice. NOT!!!
I'm with you Hep...I keep changing my mind as the days go by. But at this time, I think I'm voting for Monica to win.

Hi Sara - Rumor huh? You privy to some inside info.? hehe If that should happen, I hope Krista gets voted out.
Besides the argument between Monica and Nicole about housecleaning....what do you believe would make Nicole choose Monica? Do you think she feels Monica is her biggest threat?

Thanks for the welcome, Linda K!
I'm glad you agree with me about the caliber of these houseguests. The argument can be made that with a few exceptions this kind of televised experience would only appeal to this type of person; conversely, in order to keep things lively, only this kind of person would appeal to the network. Can you just see Elisabeth and Rodger from Survivor II on BB2? It would never happen!
But still, I find it incredible that the network managed to "cast" so many people with at least one arrest under his or her belt. I don't know which is worse: the fact that Shannon killed a man in a highway accident or that the network felt it didn't make any difference when they were considering her for the show.
I haven't heard this much profanity since my days in a college dorm. I don't have a problem with profanity, but I think it needs to be used with discretion in order to have the greatest impact, and these people cannot open their mouths without being bleeped. It's such a lazy way to speak - so uninventive.
Sara, I'm going to miss the "Kent and Bunky Show" a lot. It's been responsible for the few genuine, touching, amusing moments in this show. I loved their lights-out Waltons routine: "Goodnight, you ol' homo..." I know the network probably felt that by casting a gay man and a homophobe they might create some moments of high drama. That game plan sure backfired!
I enjoyed it last night when Kent was telling it like it was in his post-eviction chat with Julie Chen - did you all notice how she kept changing the subject because he was coming too close to the truth - such as his comment that most of the houseguests had agents before they even went into the house?
I think Sara is right: Nicole will nominate Monica and Krista for eviction. This "game" has become one of strategy, and I think it's clear that one of the last two people left standing has to be Will. Nothing is a given, but I think the odds are that Will will not win the final vote by the other houseguests, so it's to everyone's benefit that he remain in the house. I think that's why Nicole voted Kent out last night; she knows Will has to stay. This is a gamble, of course, since a lot depends on who wins head of household each week.
Who do you all think will be the last two houseguests?

Hi everyone!'
I couldn't post to this thread last night, I had to wait until this morning so I could calm down first
Last night's show SUCKED from start to finish, IMO.
Kent being voted off, NICOLE GETTING HOH!!!!!!! UGH!!!
<<taking a deep breath, calming down again>>>
I despise Nicole. I absolutely, positively cannot stand her, and was hoping SO bad that Bunky would get HOH at the end. I also feel the same way about Krista.
I think Bunky "had" to vote for Kent. If the voting was 3-1, everyone would have known it was Bunky who went against the group. I think Kent understood that too, because he even commented to Julie Chen that "he has to still live in that house" and that they had talked about it.
I think Nicole is going to vote off Krista, and possibly Hardy. I remember her saying that she wanted to get rid of both of them - after Will told her that they were in a secret alliance. (I think I got that right).
I would like to see Monica win. I'm going to HATE this week's shows - seeing Nicole being HOH all week... I can't stand the way she acts normally, let alone be HOH.
And since I'm on a roll here, can someone please explain to me why every week when they tell everyone to get around the table for nominations, Krista says "Oh, I have to go get dressed". Her idea of getting "dressed", is wearing nothing but a towel and those stupid sunglasses.
What's up with that?!?!?!? Am I the only one who has noticed that?
posted on August 10, 2001 08:25:45 AM
LOL! I was wondering about krista's towel costume everytime they do the nomination part. Doesnt she know how to get dressed? Tacky. But then again, she IS tacky herself.
I also wonder WHY they think their whispers are not being paid attention to? They know they are seen and heard 24/7...did they forget or something? Dont they realize they are seen and heard and every one of us out in tv land SEE their lies and backstabbings? Guess not. But they will see what WE see when its all over and done.
Im going to check out the link Sara provided...I wanna get inside tips, too

Here's another link that will probably tell you more than you want to know about BB2 and its houseguests. (It's a big site; keep scrolling down in order to see everything available.)

Geez Louise...I have been reading the feeds from the link Sara supplied, and I think Kent was right...they are all a bunch of freaks. The more I read of what they are saying OFF camera, the more they all look nasty. Has anyone been checking that out?
posted on August 11, 2001 11:04:08 AM
Yes, Hep I have been reading some of those threads. We do miss a lot of what's happening when just watching the three nights.
Speaking of watching....BB2 isn't coming on here for me (CDT) at the regular time. Pre-season football is on. We have satelite and can view it on CBS east or CBS west. It's not listed on either until 8-12 @ 2:30 AM (our time).
OT to you Hep - You asked me, in another thread, if I lived in CA. I told you yes (we had) and said we lived for 22 years in San Jose. But I didn't mention that I lived a total of 50 years in CA. Other than the 22 years in SJ, we lived in Santa Monica (mostly) and Huntington Bch. for the rest of that time. Just wanted to clear that up.

Making wisegirl's link clickable too. There was a link off that link where someone is stating that Krista's brother killed their father and served time for it. Sounds like she may have been the one drinking the nyquil too.

I have always wondered why nobody got on Kristas case for laughing along with Justin, drunk herself, as he held the knife to her throat. Shes sleazy, and she should have been booted out along with Justin. Personally, I think they are ALL twisted. The more I read about them, the nastier they are. Dont know about Kristas brother, dont care. But it wouldnt surprise me whatever smut is unearthed about any of them.

Thanks again Sara! I must admit that I read that other link faithfully every day. Keeps me from listing, you bad girl, you
Tonights show was..well...I wont say since some havent seen it yet. All I will say is they deserve all they get. All of them. Freaks, just like kent said.

You're welcome and here's one more - this is a link to Kent's interview on the Early Show the next day - you need Realplayer to see it:

Sara sara sara...what a link that was! Not the banner one, even though that one is cool too and now I dont have to wonder what they all said. The first one you posted! Im hooked. I read that thing all the time. At least I am not fooled by any of them anymore. I think all of them are nasty. Except Kent. Least he had morals.

So... did everyone watch tonight's show?
I was very surprised at how well the meeting went... very calm....
The thing that made the biggest impact on me in tonight's show was poor Ophelia. I never thought I could like a pig, but I think he is soooo cute!! I think he should have been able to stay in the house until the end - it would have done everyone - (including Ophelia) good. I don't like how the show took Ophelia out of her normal "home" to be in the house for just 1 week. Animals take time to adapt. He was probably just getting used to being in the house and now he has to go back to living somewhere else again.

Hi EG...Yes, I vote for the pig to win! Im still not liking ANY of the HG's. I think they are all nasty, to be honest. But, if I did have to choose, then I would choose monica. Im hoping that nicole and will get to the end, then they both get zapped. So close, but no ceegar. Would do them good to kiss it all goodbye. Im wondering...dont they KNOW that every word they say and do is seen on the internet? If not, they will find out soon enough, eh? Can we say EGG ON FACE?

Hi Hepburn ~
I would certainly vote for Ophelia as well!
I also agree with you - if someone has to win the money, I do hope it's Monica. No one else deserves it. I'm really disappointed in Hardy, I thought he was an honest person, but it looks like he's been playing everyone all along.
I hope Monica is surprised and gets to stay in the house, and I hope Krista gets booted outta there!!!
I hope the last 2 are Monica and Bunky. Bunky gets on my nerves sometimes, but he doesn't seem to be as evil as the other guys. But then again, he's been hanging around the "Evil Doctor" a lot lately, so hopefully that will not rub off on him! Will just absolutely disgusts me. How can anyone be so proud of being such a dishonest and conniving person? Ugh!

LOL yep, I'm guilty of being a Survivor fan too, but only the 2nd one - I've never seen the first one...hard to believe I do plan on renting that sometime though!
Also, rumor has it that the nominations will be live tomorrow night, due to their not having a HOH challenge for a week.

Well, you can be sure someone, if not me, will start a survivor thread and you can post all the goody links you can find so the rest of us can keep up on whats happening. Of course, suvivorsucks.com is pretty good at telling it like it is, albeit obnoxiously, but what they hey?...beats nothing at all, eh?
