NO WAY AM I CHANGING MY PLANS. FRIDGE'M. I'll be making my quarterly visit to Vegas, and then later my Thanksgiving visit to the UK. GOD knows where I am at all times. If he (or she) needs me, it really does not matter where I am. No, I won't stick my head into the lion's mouth, but also if someone tries to change my plans, and move my departure from this material world sooner than is necessary, they better kill me with the first shot, cause if I get up, I will beat them to death with the bloodly stump of my arm or leg. But purely in a friendly, the world is a wonderful place for us all, way...

I hope those 6 people got first class treatment
RE: scuba equipment..shipping it ahead. Yikes! scary thought. Nevermind it could get lost, stolen, damaged, but when it arrives you might get stuck paying import duty. In any case, I hope you end up going to Fiji and loving it! We've changed our winter diving trip from Cocos Island, Costa Rica to Whales of the Silver Bank but that's the only change we'll make.
There is just too much beauty in this world, why let these fanatical fools try and destroy it. I'm still P.O.'d about those wonderful statues, darnit.

I love to fly. I love traveling around the world. I refuse to give in to fear. I just purchased airline stock in order to show my support of the industry and my faith in America to come out on top.

What ever happened to 'eat, drink, and be merry'? If you knew for a fact that the world was going to end in a month, would you spend that month in bed crying or get out and make the most of what time you have left?
If war comes, we will have plenty of time to cower in the closet. Until then, I would rather take my chances on a plane going to see my kids, or taking a vacation, than worry about what might happen and miss ever seeing the kids again.
Just think, the pioneers knew that the Indians were out there waiting to stop their progress. If they hadn't gotten in that wagon and gone anyway, we wouldn't have California! Where is that pioneer spirit when we need it?

My husband and I have spent around 5K on his parent's 50th anniversary celebration. The invitations went out on 9-8-01. This also means we have to travel 5 states away to put on this event. So far, we are getting mostly "accepts" on the response cards. But, who knows what the future holds. By Nov 1st, we may be fully at war. I'd sure hate to see that 5K go down the drain.
Not my name on ebay.

If I knew the world was going to end in a month? That's something I have actually planned-I'm a morbid person, I guess.
I would gather my children and go to the ocean. We could watch the whales and the dolphins, the sunsets, and appreciate the beauty of this world. I would sleep close to DH every night and tell them all how happy they have made my life.
I'd also chain smoke, live on frozen margaritas and chocolate, and laugh a lot...
