Would just like to point out that on 01/10/01, Y------ auctions had 537,934 sports cards listed.
Again, a disproportionate number?

Spelling typo.

Ontime,

I have deleted your post because you are bringing issues here from another chat board and we just don't allow it.

Hi Hillbilly

Interesting comment you wrote here:

I just want to make a public apology to Bidville, and all of the "Auction World" I came on the boards ranting & raving, before knowing all of the facts. Which I have a bad habit of doing. I have come to the conclusion, with evidence produced, that Bidville isn't biased at all, that they have treated the members equally with any type of punishment or suspensions.

You know I have always respected what you have to say. Hypothetically speaking, would you think it's fair and unbiased for Bidville to create a new rule, publicly suspend a member for breaking that rule, then allow another member to break the same rule with no consequences?

For example, what if the other member continued to badmouth and post direct personal insults against the suspended member in direct violation of the new rule, and was allowed to continue with no warnings?

What if that other member has been suspended from another prominent auction site for doing exactly the same thing?

In this hypothetical case, the suspended member can obviously not respond to these insults and personal attacks in the appropriate area, so s/he may elect to respond here.

Finally, what would you think if the suspended member contacted the site's owner and requested an equal enforcement of the new rule across all members and was totally ignored.

Just looking for your valued opinion on this Hillbilly.

Thanks

What if a member were a shill bidder and tossed for that. Selective memory?

Bidsbids ... that would be a definite no-no. I don't think shill bidding is allowed on any site.

Hello Everyone,

One cannot say "what if... in a hypothetical situation" when the stuff is the same ole stuff the moderator has been admonishing people about.

RB you are being given a warning.

bidsbids, you are being given a warning.

dimview,

As I mentioned yesterday, you may do stats in one thread per auction house. If you wish to open a thread for Bidville stats, feel free to do so.

I'm locking this thread as it is unproductive.
