Hmmm. So those words. With their meaning so obviously skewed in your own mind were enough to make you call me a whore? Please. Would you do that in RL?
I take none back and no I do not see why those words should anger you to that degree.

Your remark to rawbunzil is the most derogatory term that I have heard on this or any other board including AC.
Now, you owe rawbunzil, one of the most outstandig posters on this board, a real apology. We don't want to hear your feeble excuses.
It may be futile because if I were in her position, I wouldn't accept it.

Yup, Uaru, you have the right but you bear the consequences - in terms of how others view you (your reputation) and how they will interact with you in future or whether they will wish to interact with you at all.

Uaru, I don't care to exchange apologies with you. You have no right to speak to any woman on any board the way you have here. A lack of moderaton does not mean it is ok to call women names.
I have tried ~albeit without sucess ~to show you that my comments have nothing to do with your RL and only have to do with things that you have said here in this VERY THREAD.
In my RL I use the " I am not your wife so don't" and whatever shall follow. I worked with men exclusivly for twenty years,I was their supervisor for ten of those years. We talked like that to one another.A matter of course you could say.I do not consider it degrading for you to be told that I am not your wife [indeed, after what you say about me it is almost like casting a blessing upon you!] and after seeing how you spoke to Helen in this thread [and others I might add} I had no qualms about adding the "So don't talk down to me" part.
Try to understand that my words only reflect your posting.

How very ironic.
You expected to be able to call women here names reserved for dogs and a whore. Yet somehow you didn't expect the women here to get angry and say anything about it. However, you think you have the right to get angry and lash out at Rawbunzel and Helen whenever and however you want. That does constitute looking down on women and talking down to them as well.
So it seems Rawbunzel was right. And so is Irene, you are experiencing the consequences of what YOU have chosen to say to several women here.
BTW, take a little read at AC sometime. Your "cute little cur" remark to Helen was already repeated by an anonymous poster there in the spirit of continuing the 'great fun' it must be calling people names like that. In fact the anonymous troll there devoted an entire thread to your "cute little remark". If you know who started that thread, why don't you lecture them on taking your remarks to other message boards out of context.
I think you owe both Helen and Rawbunzel an apology.

Rawbunzel, I apologize for calling you the name I did. I was very angry at your remarks and I didn't take the time to respond in a more civil but still strong tone. That was poor judgement and haste on my part.
I apologize to the women for my remarks that took offense at them even those they weren't directed at them. I hold women on an equal level with me and at time perhaps a bit higher because of their patience.
Now for Helen. I'd rather eat ground glass than apologize to Helen. If that makes me the bad guy so be it, I can and will live with that without remorse.

There is no excuse for the comments uaru made...they were sexist, ignorant, abusive and uncalled for. And the responsibility of uaru's comments belongs solely to uaru...no one else. Does not make any difference when you showed up Steve...it would still be that way.

Well for myself, I'll accept the general apology that uaru gave to the women here. I am glad you came back to apologize.
Re any other unresolved issues between uaru and any other poster, I don't know or understand all the detailed history that came previous to any of this so will bow out of any further discussion.

There are some things you just don't call people on a public baord. Whore is one and calling Helen a "cur" was also quite a ways over the line. Uaru reaped as he sowed. Uaru is not a good debater. He is a good name caller. He does not come here to discuss politics he only comes to argue. If this was real life he would not be welcome at my home. Would he be welcome in yours if ,say ,he called your daughter/sister/mother [we won't say wife as I know you are divorced] a whore? I doubt it. I am quite sure that my husband would have a thing or two to say to Uaru about his calling me a "road whore" [whatever that is supposed to be]. He is lucky that I keep board matters at the boards and do not let them influence my life.

Bunzey, this is not your home. Or mine. If it were mine, I'd probably throw the lot of you out on the street. If you think Uaru is a name-caller, why did you engage him?
Last night I was reading Bruno Bettleheim's "A Good Enough Parent." In the section I was reading, Bettleheim described the child who enjoys the game, as long as she is winning. When the child begins to lose, she quits the game and wants to start over. 'Kind of like what happened here.
(BTW, Bettleheim's advice was to let the child start a new game.)

I called Helen no names until she pinned "Piss Ant" on me.
I called you no names until you pinned "TWIT" and "POMPOUS AS*" on me.
I've apologized for the term I used toward you Rawbunzel. Please don't get too self rightous on me. This thread is still available here for any that wish to dissect it and see it's progression.
I made a comment on what I felt and feel was a ridiculous political statement and then ended up being accused of being cruel to animals, and an abuser of women. It was an interesting trip that I don't plan on taking again. Lets say its not my kind of entertainment.
Twinsoft could have gone into a rant about the jewish "Solomon" remark. Things aren't always meant as they are taken, and aren't always taken as they are meant.
My contempt for Helen is absolute, make no mistake about that.

No this isn't my house or Uarus or yours. Still a little decorum doesn't hurt.
I did not say he shouldn't call any names, if that is his style. Just that he should be careful the particular names he calls. All boards have a line that should not be gone over. This board is no different than any other with moderation or without. Had there been moderation Uaru would be out sitting on his keester. Had he said I was a sl*t,cu*t or bit*h [actually Bit*h doesn't bother me but that is just me and it does offend others on the boards so should not be used]would that have been ok in your book? I hope not pookie I though that perhaps you were at least that much better than that.
