Oh Pooter. No one said that Uaru was not within his rights to call anyone anything at all. It was simply suggested,in rather strong terms, that perhaps the words he chose to use were a bit harsh under the circumstances. I really do think it may have been more appropriate for KRS to call him a "penis" but "pussy" has been used at all boards and is as far as I know, even though sexist in nature, still a generally condoned word.
No one said Uaru couldn't have ,say ,called me an "interferring crotchety old witch "...although it would have been totally untrue it would not have been nearly as offensive as being called a paid for sex prostitute. See?
Best to let it drop,Butterbrickle. He apologized for the use of that particular word..an apology to Helen would have been in order but..well....we don't expect the moon. I accepted and for the record I will apologize to Uaru for anything I may have said that was misinterpreted to be interference in his domestic harmony.
There. All better now? xxxxooooxxooxo *****smooches**** It's bad if your enemy is quick. It's worse if she is patient.

somebody got called a pussy and it wasn't one of the kitty's??? and I missed it. I miss a lot of the important stuff.
I've often stated that I don't read everything but no one believes me.
for the record I don't think people should be called pussies either unless they're cats. Although in England "fanny" means the same thing and here we use the word "fanny pack" all the time without blanching or thinking it's foul language. The vagaries of language.

I guess I must be old fashioned. If I see a man calling another man a ______ (I can't bring myself to say that word in public) then I consider it a situation between two men. If I see two women engaged in name calling - then it's between them. But, it crossed the line for me when a man called one woman a #*!@ and then another one a whore. Now, isn't it interesting that I'm perfectly comfortable saying the words #*!@ and whore but can't bring myself to say that other one... you know the one.
Maybe it's hypocrytical of me but I had to speak out yesterday in particular because it was a man saying those things to a woman. I'm prudish that way. I also can't bring myself to wear shorts in a church, or call a teacher by his/her first name... oh God, I need help.

Nothing to choke about Ken. It only took me two thousand, four hundred and eleven post to finally say one thing that you agree with.
I should win a medal or something for finally breaking you.
G'night...
Not paranoid anywhere else but here!
