auctionee, that 2nd item was "outbid" and I wasn't the "winner" It was used to reference the fact that he "talked" about that auction, w/o talking about this original problem "auction"
For the main problem, this 2nd auction is a "non issue".

Are you saying that the post office told you that they won't check to see if the seller's box is used for business unless directed by the postal inspector? If so, there is a problem at the post office. I have requested this info a couple of times and it was given to me both times. If I were you, I would ask to speak to the head postmaster at your post office to clarify this. The postal clerks have been known to make mistakes. But of course I've made a few myself....

That's what was told to me. Supposedly I was talking "higher up" in the office at the time (although it would have been smarter for me to have gotten his specific "job title". Well, all this is neither here or there at this point.
As of this afternoon all this has escalated to another level anyways, Controlling/Investigative parties notified, and although I haven't received as much acknowledgement/suggestion from them as of yet we'll see.
I'll leave any specifics out until I can get word from other parties on this.....
