Again, I want to thank EVERYONE for their input. I am happy with all the contributions. I just wanted the auction site managers to see what sellers wanted and the many differences in opinions. Maybe with this information, SOMEONE can come up with a site that fits all.
Maybe different charging methods for different types or values of items. Maybe where a seller could select their prefered method of selecting type of fees for their item. Example: Maybe on a $1.00 listing they have an option of either a 10% final value fee or a 15 cent flat listing fee. The fee percentages are different because with the flat rate listing fee thay are taking no chances and know the total amount they will be paying for the listing.
This is just an example, not a specified amount. Give the sellers a choice, they know the types of items they are selling and the best method for them, while the sites still make money. The major complaint of sellers is Fee after Fee after Fee, until they make nothing or Very little for all the work of listing, packaging & shipping the item. Have a single fee, whether it be listing or Final Value etc.
