correct me if i am wrong- i just listed some items on yahoo auction which appeal to young women 20-30 age group-jewelry .
not expensive ones but just interesting themes.

2 good things I've learned here. - look at what yahoo's adversing on the front page and list from that - very good idea. Second, eseller04 - I just saw your post on how to make amazon more competitive with ebay on the message board, - really well thought out ideas, that could mostly apply here too. AW is proving useful for me.

My selling rate is 92% on Yahoo and 52% on Ebay. I would work on getting a following on Yahoo. Once you are established there I believe you'll do far better on Yahoo. Plus I get more repeat buyers on Yahoo than I ever did on Ebay. As far as all the sites they are virtually useless.

I have kept an eye on the romance section: went to a low of about 176 items and has climbed up to 370 or so listed. I am thinking of putting on my low end romances as they sell on ebay but time I pay out ebay fees/paypal etc it is not worth doing them there~ also am looking at childrens books and might list here as well. My low end stuff gets buried at bidville where they have thousands of books on romance !Hope yahoo improves even a little bit. they sell more on romance than amazon auctions!
