Hillbilly Said:
I also sent $400.00 to the fire fighter survivor fund.
Big Deal hillbilly sending donations with money that was aquired illegally. It cost TAX PAYERS more to keep you people under control than your worth. As far as I'm concerned you should have your house and all your assets pulled! and put you in a nice BIG HOUSE if you catch my drift.
Like I said to you once before "double set of standards or what"

You don't really believe this Ram truck/moonshine nonsense do you? HB needs to come down to earth. He's probably some nerdy little card dealer that has never even sniffed the cork of a good jug of shine

I had to go lurk a little at BV chat rooms, just to see what all the hoo-ha was about. I didn't look at all the threads, but I didn't see anything there any worse than what I see on this thread!
As to making smart comments about someone's child having a bicycle accident-that's totally uncalled for, and inexcusable. Whether they made the kid wear a helmet or not, it's a horrible thing to happen and very unworthy of you bidsbids, to use that to attack their parents. Shame on you.

"You don't really believe this Ram truck/moonshine nonsense do you? "
Well of course I do, and you should see the big bridge I won on BV They sent me pictures and everything. LOL
As far as "double set of standards" go's HB does seem to burn the candle from both ends!
By the way why are you here and the grey cat isn't????

#2. We only have Fees to pay now because of all the bigmouths on the BV boards and here ECT..
That statement shows a lot of ignorance. The scam artists have nothing to do with the fees?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
this is where U R wrong:
If there was nothing ever said about BidVille becomeing a good site to sell at and there was never any bickering done Here or There-----------
The fees came because some of the user's at BV wants the buyers and other seller's there, to feel like it is a safe envirment to do bussiness.
And if nothing had ever happened with people bashing - the site
there would NOT be a reason to have the fees.
Bearmon, I apologised to HB about the bike accident earlier in this thread. I have the utmost respect for the Hillbilly.
I apologised to JB about his poor spelling too. I also have the utmost respect for JB.
I admited that BV is no longer worth bashing. I'm only going to extoll the virtues of Carnaby and it's excellent layout from now on. Bearmom, did you notice the posts attacking Carnaby in BV? Users are not suppose to mention other auctions but BV does allow it as long as it is in a degrading fashion. ( that's not a bash but a statement of fact )
RB, the Hillbilly is a legend in his own time. There may be some embellishments to some of his posts but I believe them all. I believe the posts by his charming wife and young son. Nobody could make that stuff up that consistently. ( P/S ...Hillbilly, I agree with your wife about not discussing illegal business ventures online ) One of my favorite Hillbilly ( family )posts was by Junior when he first started posting. He told how his father threw a radar detector and Kid Rock CD out the window of their moving car to illustrate how much money they had after the son had complained about not having money to spend. I could really see that happening, if not perhaps a bit unstable, but he admits to having depression and medication to controll it.
If people want their shine Hillbilly you give to them, at a cost of course. This is all part of the lure and the lore of the Bidville Hillbilly.
You are so correct on many assumptions R.B. I just wanted to see if I would be bashed. Which I was. I am no moonshiner. I just thought maybe I could change the view from Bash Bidville to Bash Hillbilly. LOL!!!! Reality, Uhh!!! The $400.00 came out of my lovely hard working wives checking account. I hope somebody benefited it from it. Nah! All of the Hillbilly's money is legal. You basically need to get a grip R.B. or possibly gain a little more humour. Reality, I also have gathered from my many encounters with you, that you just basically don't like the Hillbilly. Good! I'll put you on the long list of hate mongers. You guys have a good day. I possibly can find better things to do on a beautiful Saturday. Like maybe take a good ole bowel movement and read the paper. Probably would be much more gratifying.
bidbids, I have told many, many stories from personal life experiences. Yes! The radar detecter was a classic. My son still tells everyone about that to make his friends think I am crazy. I do not produce moonshine myself. I do however know a gentleman that does. I think he sells about $6 to $7,000.00 a year. He is 78 years old. LOL!!! R.B. I have done more than sniffed a cork. Moonshine around here makes you 10 feet tall and bullet proof. Sorry for the moonshine lead on. But most knew it was ficticious from the beginning. But hey! We all stretch the truth on ocassion. If not! Just start throwing the stones. Hillbilly
I never disliked you a bit, as a matter a fact I always concidered you one of the neutral BV'ers. That was up to the day that you stuck up for Cuff and her trolling antics. At that point I had no choice but to lower my oppinion of you. Hate! no not even close!
I have no dislike for you HB
I just find it easier to talk with people who aren't so full of crap that their eyes are brown. As soon as I have determined that the person I am talking to is making up incredulous stories about themselves, everything else they say, including kudos about their favourite auction site, tends to just drift in one ear and out the other.
You should know that about me from the "good old BV days". You should also know that I am not the type of person who holds back, nor will I back down from a good debate.
If I believe I am right, I'll fight.
If I'm not, I'll apologize.
I've done both many times
YourDesigns, if you really enjoy a good old fashioned bashing of Bidville may I suggest trying it on their own message boards. They love to argue with bashers over there and I think you'll have a most enjoyable time. They may complain about it but deep down I think they love rallying against detractors of their site.
Reality1, I could be mistaken but I think you and I do business together once in awhile. I could be wrong but I think I have linked the writings and personality. I think you might have over evaluated the CuFF situation. I never stated that whatever CuFF had done was right. What I said was "Why hang her?" She hasn't done anything at Auction Watch that hasn't been done at Bidville by the Hater's & Basher's. Like my grandaddy always used to say, "What's good fur the goose, is good fur the gander." Or another classic phrase that he used, "If you are going to clean out the S--thouse. Make sure you get all of the t--ds." All I seen her doing was defending her site. Like I said before, I read very few of the posts over here. R.B. I don't dislike you either. No problem. I have received a string of e-mails from people I don't even know. Here is an example. "Hillbilly, I have noticed on the auction watch boards that holysmokes, bidsbids do not chew you up and crucify you the way they do others. Do you know these jerks?" LOL!!! Maybe it is my gift of gab. Can you guy's explain? Or am I just lucky?
Think about what you just said!
""Hillbilly, I have noticed on the auction watch boards that holysmokes, bidsbids do not chew you up and crucify you the way they do others. Do you know these jerks? LOL!!!""
Like I said hillbilly I always concidered you neutral. But that doesn't set very well with some of the over zealous BV'ers.
Nope never emailed ya, not yet anyway! LOL
Nah you can't bash Bidville over there. See Prez needed money because his food stamps were not enough. So now if you want to post, you have to pay $5. If the Prez decides he doesn't like what you are saying, you are suspended and he keeps the $5. Quite a cozy racket.
Reality1, I have studied the post. I have thought about what I said. I personally have no problems with CuFF. We speak to one another by e-mail and on the Bidville boards. Let me break it down. I do not condone any Trollism on any board. But I said why hang her. Nobody at Auction Watch has been hanged for coming to the Bidville boards bashing. Or at least under a Troll ID. The AW Trolls always throw in a few deadbeat beads or use obscene language. That has gotten them suspended. Cuff also got suspended at Auction Watch. So I believe the play has been fair. There is no neutral corners in this battle. I sell at Bidville. So I am pro Bidville. But I can still have a civil conversation with the opponants. What about balls & strikes. He despised this place. But he went right to Bidville and got suspended. He was a great Buyer & Seller. But he let his butt overload his mouth. Why did he do this? He did not have the temper control that is needed on the Bidville boards. I have disapproved of many of the PREZ's decisions. But I didn't cuss anyone out or call him names. So I am still there. You don't think he reads the boards at Auction Watch? Rest assured he does. Is he going to can me for jabbering over here? Not hardly. If I go back to Bidville and tear him to pieces. Will I get suspended? You bet! I have no problem with you guy's differing with Bidville's decisions. I have no problem with you diagreeing with the PREZ's decisions. But there is a professional format. Then there is an unruly format. I believe the latter has been used quite frequently. I hate anything affiliated with Yahoo auctions. I despise them. I hate them. But I am not going to call them a bunch of trailor trash, welfare check gettin, inbred doing their sister kind of bashing. I hate them. Enough said! Out of the thousands of dollars each year that I spend on cards, I probably haven't spent $50.00 there since joining Bidville. I think I have also sold 3 cards during this time. But I ain't over in the Yahoo section trashing them on a daily basis. I cannot rule or control you guy's or your comments. You have that natural right. But I can give my differing opinions. This battle could go on for years. Bumping, grinding, and banging heads. Personally I could care less about who likes me at Bidville or Auction Watch. But the friends that I have made. I try to keep them. I know that many people can not stand me because I consider R.B. a friend. I choose my friends. Nobody does it for me. We have bashed noggins before. But we keep the bashing seperated. If I wanted DVD advice that is who I would contact. I have several business associates that have been suspended from Bidville. We overlook our differences on our opinions on Bidville. I just sent one $20.00 the other day. We just don't talk about it on a business level. He hates Bidville with a purple passion. But I love Bidville. So the only thing I can do. Is not mix business with pleasure. I know that I probably know many of the rebel force over here. I did some back tracking. I do remember when Reality1 had a name change. He came in the other day and battled with CuFF. He did it in a way that was not offensive to the Bidville staff. But another ID ucantstandthetruth was respectively suspended. So I guess any opinions is subject to scrutiny. O.K. I have worn my welcome out here. So the A.W. boards is all yours. I have work to do. HB, I don't think Yahoo has a message board system for their auction unless you mean the one here at AW.
I personally believe that there is so much hatred towards both Yahoo and eBay for one main reason, that being that it nearly impossible to make any kind of a profit there with the combination of fees and incredible seller competition. If you have a unique collectible that you got for a song then you have a chance to make money. That combination of fees and competition forces most sellers to seek very low cost alternative sites where they can sell their items. Most sellers refuse to admit that fact but that is the truth. Add that to the fact that major alternative sites like BV, ePier and Carnaby never recieved near the traffic that Yahoo had before the listings started and you have a lot of people mad at both eBay/Yahoo and the low cost alternatives sites and especially BV since it is the largest and held the most promise in the beginning of it's existence.
