At one time BidBay did have its own forum. I believe denephew is correct in stating that they were removed because members of BidBay personnel were posting here pretending to be users. They were warned and chose to ignore the warning so the forum was removed.
I have a memory like a steel trap .. unfortunately it's rusted shut!

I would imagine that an auction site has to be an auction site for all its users, and not cast doubt about itself with the way they promote themselves. many sites look like they are run by 20 somethings and do not know about the way to conduct above board business at all times.

Vette~~I noticed the lint as well mikecol~~Bidbay made the wise move to get rid of Bidbay singles chat.
I think if Bidbay did some relevant advertising, did away with all the gimicks and counted listings in a more honest fashion~~they would become a site that would attract more BUYERS. The greatest gimmick of all would be a site that had a large base of true buyers and concentrated on the business of being an auction site. For me, because I am approaching auctions as a business and not a hobby, the gimmicks do nothing~~I'd rather have real cash buyers in amounts significant enough to write home about. But for someone who enjoys constant contests in an auction environment, is not concerned with lower cash sales and is willing to spend the time listing items for BB bucks~~Bidbay would be #1 NOT #2.
