I am not a member of that site and have no reason at this time to be. Cuff is the queen of the trailer queens and had she posted here, I would have her on the same ignore list as the three members of the Bidville roach patrol that are here now. It is so pleasant to see their names and not have to read their drivel. Cuff however was banned from here a long time ago. Of course if she had a credit card she could register. I guess the walmart greeter jobs don;t pay well enough to get credit.

Hi...I'm new to the ''boards'' and didn't even know Bidville existed before tonight, but I am totally amazed at the conversation! I thought the boards were for exchanging info about different sites, or asking for help with posting auctions...stuff like that. I have never read such nonsense in my life! I assume I'm reading the posts of ''adults'' and all I see are people site-bashing, residence-bashing, board-bashing, and name-calling. I work hard on my auctions and am college-educated and beyond, but I occasionally make a spelling error or typo...does this mean I'm somehow a sub-human life form? I think people who use a public forum to point fingers and call names should all be put on ignore by everyone who has a mental age over 9 (which is how old I was when I learned that sticking my tongue out at someone was a really DUMB thing to do!!) <br />

I am confused. You said you visited Bidville for the first time tonight and you found people and places being bashed? And you referred to occassionally making a typo or mis-spelling yourself and were surprised to be attacked? I'm sure you meant these to be observations of your boarding reading here at AW. There are many members here that HATE Bidville and attack people there on a daily basis. As for chastisement for mis-spellings and typos, this particular thread was started by one of the Bidvillesite Bashers to attack those sorts of "violations" perpitrated by Bidvillians.
Thank you for your observations of the true facts by reading this post.

I guess if we are going to talk about "true facts" we need to make sure that what we are saying is correct. Perhaps today flontngle will in fact go to Bidville, pay to become verified so they can read the message boards there, and read through the Bidville message boards over the past several months to make an informed decision about their content and the folks there.

Wouldn't that be a waste of money (and time)? I would assume that flontngle can get a pretty good idea of the general demure at Bidville just be reading what their reps have been saying here, unless, of course, flontngle has them on ignore like most of us.

Am I wrong in thinking anyone can read the BV message boards but you must pay to be verified to post on those same message boards? I believe at one time you had to be a verified member to even view the boards but that foolish error was quickly fixed.

Didn't take long folks, within minutes, Dreamgirl/Mean-Girl was "puking" on me on the boards and trying to say it was okay.
And if I don't like the icons, don't use them...but when others USE them, I have to VIEW them!

You have to be a registered member before you can even view the boards. I don't know about "verified" (I think that's just Ed's way of saying "give me your dough or the kid gets it".)
The reason you have to be a member before you can read the forums is simple ... if you could read them before accepting His rules, there's no way you would join.

You all missed the whole point of my post. I had NOT been to the Bidville site when I posted my message - I was talking about the posts on this AW board. The whole point of the message was ''when are all you people, regardless of what site or board you are on, going to stop bashing other people and other sites, and start using the boards for the purpose for which they were intended, i.e. a forum for exchanging ideas and information about auctions, listing tools, items, etc?'' If someone makes an observation with which you don't agree there is a polite way of refuting an argument without reducing it to the level of, ''Well, you're probably trailer-trash so therefore your comment has no validity!'' Start acting like adults and stop all this nonsense!!

If you came over here looking for quick support, you will probably find it. But always watch you back. Even the family dog will turn on you once in awhile. I don't like the smilies, either. They are in exceptionally poor taste. That doesn't change the fact that the people there are really friendly, supportive people. Most of the trash has moved to AW to lick their wounds and snarl. Be prepared to stand up to them, or leave. There are some of the most hateful, vulgar, disturbed people here that you'll ever meet. A few really nice ones, but you won't meet them on the BV bashing threads!

Unless there is a new addition to the Bidville TOS prohibiting its members from posting on other sites I believe that any of us, including you, can post anywhere we want.
In all actuality, you could ask yourself a similar question ... how can you come over here and post anything at all? Therein may lie your answer to your question to Suzi.
Its apparent that Suzi can post anywhere and some of it ends up on the Bidville forums anyway. So does it matter where she posts?

The Bidville forums run rampant with poor language, they are profane in many ways including language, and insults are in order there on many days ... oh, and, yes, those things are done by the so-called Bidville cheerleaders right in their own backyard. I take exception that you think that the people posting here, for the most part, were kicked off Bidville. Statistically, I believe that even you will agree that very, very few real people have even been "kicked off Bv." While some here have in fact been suspended by Bidville, I believe that if you tally the numbers you will find that the majority of posters to this very thread are still members of Bidville.

This entire thread has been very interesting. It has gone in many different directions. I have not and will never bash any members of Bidville. I see no point in calling someone names based on where they decide to do business. I also realize that once Ed the Idiot gives up on Bidville, I will see these folks again on other sites and I look forward to being able to interact with them again. I prefer to stick to the main fact that many people are forgetting as they bash the Bidville membership. The fact that Ed Orlando the Bidville Prez is and Idiot and a liar. Nothing else matters to me.

It is entirely possible that Ed has not even stepped foot in the BV office for months or even had a casual thought about his latest website fiasco in months as there is zero personal input from him to be found on BV. That fact seems to point in the direction of his pulling the plug for a third time on one of his website failures. A fool never learns ...

Excalibur, I for one do not agree with everything Bidville does. Many changes has not been up to par for my individual concerns. I feel that Suzi came here with her disapproval of the new smiley's, so that the "Wrecking Crew" could further spew their venom at Bidville. You are either for Bidville or against it. I have already gathered the facts that you Excalibur is against it. You keep speaking of how profane Bidville is. If it offends you to that point. Why participate? If you by any means feel that the Auction Watch boards is any better than Bidville's, then maybe you need a snort of shine. Have you ever took a few hours to read these boards? If not, give it a try. There is more accusations and name calling over here, than Bidville ever thought about. I have a select few friends that frequent this "Junkyard" but for the most know exactly how I feel. Do you see a pattern HillBilly? The pro BV camp detests the AW & Mootropolis message boards yet post at them anyway. Some in the anti BV camp post on BV even though they think it is a poor place for newcomers to view. The theme may be that it is too darn difficult to reframe from either attacking or defending BV on message centers. As an example, the Palestinians and Jews are never going to get along and the whole world knows it. When and if one side attacks the other strikes back. Maybe the key is not to strike at all.

It is my personal opinion that Bidville has its own 'in-house' "Wrecking Crew" and does quite well at spewing its own venom.
