The USSC will very likely end up ruling on the Gay Marriage. It rules on everything from abortion to the death penalty. The Supreme Court is being asked to determine moral issues that fall outside the scope of strict constitutional interpretation.
Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia says, "It is blindingly clear judges have no greater capacity than the rest of us to determine what is moral."
As I have said time and again, the final decision will not be based on any religious doctrine, in the fact the US government doesn't recognize any certain religion. It will be decided based on equality for those involved. The simple fact is that Gay Americans are equal as citizens. There is no citizen that has a legal right to be married. I don't think the court will allow a segment of the population to have a certain right and another segment denied the same right.

If and when the USSC finally gets to hear a case, I think they will pass it back to the states for the decision.

It is called right and wrong... a pity you and yeager never learned that... must be a lacking in a proper upbringing...
Some people in this country know that homosexuality is wrong... and need to keep this country on the right path.
I am curious as to why no response on those states that have decided? Is it because you were hoping the USSC would protect you, but now you see that it may not have the power to do so?
After Nov 2nd at least 10 more states will be added to the list that won't allow homosexual marriage. The states did decide as the homosexual agenda wanted, no national addition to the constitution, but additions to state constitutions... so now that the states are deciding they do not want homosexual marriage must be a blow to the homosexual ego...you are not as accepted as you thought.
