Spaz,
Great story. I think there has been more canabilism in history than we delicate people of today think. Hunger is a mighty sword. I can see Rudy doing that.
Yes, JamesO it is a show but I'll bet those people were miserable. I wouldn't want to do it. Leave my air conditioning, No Way!
They are having another one in Australia next year.
Oddish,
I didn't get Greg's video either. Kind of reminded me of the Wasssssssssup commercial but I guess at least there is someone who understands him. LOL.

Well I am glad to see coconut-ear go! What a bizarro dude that was!!! What was up with his sister smoochy smoochying his in the video over and over and over again? And what was up with the fake crying routine when he had to leave?
Bye Bye Coconut-Ear!
I don't think it's that the 'crew' couldn't get a tape for Jenna, I think it's that her mother didn't send it in to be received in time... that stinks. Guess Grandma's gonna get a smaller cut if she wins, lol

This last week I would have voted Gervas out, but he was able to use the energy he has been saving (by not doing much)to protect himself from being outted. Maybe his strategy all along?
Colleen could be next.
I'm enjoying the show, mostly because I've been wrong at guessing who goes out each week.

Maybe someone has mentioned this, and I just haven't seen it, but did anyone hear last Friday, on the news, that Kelly was *allegedly* wanted in N.C. by the police for stealing and using stolen credit cards? The report said the authorities weren't going to try and extradite her (from her home state) because of the expense.
Bet they'll be watching this show for when she gets voted off.

I saw a promo for Survivor on CBS this afternoon proclaiming "She was voted off the island, now she's coming back! On an all-new Survivor, Wednesday night."
I'm glad I don't watch the show. I would certainly become very aggravated by it.

Linda,
Not only is Kelly wanted but on todays news here they had court documents showing Richard is also going to court when he gets off the show for allegibly (sp?) physically abusing his son.
The skeletons are starting to come out of the closet - I never did like that guy.
Watch - when the show ends they will all be like the "I want my privacy and life back" MS. Darva Conger - so here see me nude!! I say capitalize on the offers - BUT do not go around and say it is against my religion - I could not get a job - with the shortage of nurses etc. People may start to believe that blonde hair is real!!.
What was up with Greg - refusing the today show morning after interview - boy was Bryant po'd.
Anyone watching - Big Brother - makes survivor look like a great show - and yes, I watch survivor as my entertainment but it truly has little value. Big brother is the dullest of the 'real life' shows yet.
My guess for tomorrow night is-----
The girl that did not get the video. Cannot remember her name. BTW - they did say they sent the video to her mother but they never received one back. Pretty sad -

boysmommy3 - No I didn't see that news clip. Skeletons? Ahhh yes. Sure many more closets will be opened before this is over.
Will be interesting to see who's coming back on the island. My husband thinks it's going to be Gretchen. I can't figure out why anyone would be brought back...so we'll find out tonight.
I've watched the weekly show of Big Brother, but haven't watched the nightly ones. Right now it does seem rather boring...but being confined together for 3 months, in this situation, has the possiblity to get interesting. Maybe????

From what I understand all of the now remaining survivors will be back for the finale as they will all have a vote in the final send off which will leave the winner.
I would hope for anyone but Rich - he makes my skin crawl - and that was before his court case. Susan too - gets on my nerves - more so since I saw the videotape.
I am hoping Big Brother picks up steam - but so far I am not fond of any of the people on the show.
I did see the previews where they say they are bringing someone back - Linda do you know why?

I'd change that just a little to say, "is it any surprise that the people chosen for this kind of show are a little off?"
I think the show creators pick the borderline, obnoxious, narcissistic, etc. people deliberately. Who wants to watch a bunch of strong, well-adjusted folks all get along and treat each other with respect and courtesy?

Well, despite my "I can't be bothered to watch such garbage" attitude, I succumbed to curiosity last night and watched my first episode of Survivor.
Is it just my imagination, or does nothing happen on this show? I saw them turning over a bunch of boards at one point, marching across floating logs in slow motion (I guess that makes it more dramatic) and then they spent the rest of the show swinging in hammocks wondering aloud who would be voted off next.
Had I been able to vote, I would have 86'd the cranky old guy.

Spaz,
While last night would be pretty boring for you as it was your first - for those that have been watching since the inception it was rather interesting.
While their challenge was the easiest yet -the shifting of control to Kelly was great as I loved seeing Rich and Susan squirm.
In addition the look on Rich's face was priceless when the girls brought in a fish - his big control factor is no more!!
Had Shawn not have done his alpha pick it would have been interesting to see who would have gone - my dear friend Rich no less!!
And big brother again proved once again to be the dullest 'reality' based show yet. The worst part is when they keep going out to the newslady to analyze each move. But having Dr Drew on the show adds a little spice. Does anyone know if he still does that talk show with Adam Corolla?

Yah Dr. Drew still does loveline.
I am livid!! Jenna was my favorite! Oh how could they? I was hoping Rich so bad he is so pompous.
I think Kelly will be next!

Oddish,
I agree - wished for Rich - can't stand the man. But, I have to say, leaving two three year olds for 30 days - hmmm - not sure that was a good move -especially for a single mom.
But she was one of my favorites.
Have a great night -
I saw a news show last night where they were talking to the producer and showed the remaining four - he said yea the news can screw up. The four I thought I saw in the pic was Rich, Rudy, Kelly and Sean. I could be way wrong or it could have been a promotional joke so we would have to guess - but you never know. Someone will spill the beans before the taped shows we are watching are over.

Anyone for tonight's episode? West coast her so not on yet.
I am going for Rich (I hope)
On Big Brother I pick Curtis.
Seems the news (amazing it is on the news) has been reporting that Gervase is driving around his hometown in a new nice new car and not working - hmmm..... also saw a statistical show and they picked Rudy.
We'll see - as long as not Rick or Susan I will be happy!!

Well I missed this week's show. I was mopping up the basement. I tried to check out the Survivor web site but they are not saying anything until midnight. Oh well.
I also heard about Gervase and his new car. I don't believe he would be the winner though. He strikes me as the type of person that will do as little as possible. What a let down it would be if he is the winner.

Tokay,
I think everyone tonight wanted to kick Richard off and were pretty ticked when he won the challenge. Gervase was the one tonight but he won the treats which were pizza and a phone call.
Spaz,
This is something you just had to have watched from the beginning to get into it. It is mindless entertainment but I go crazy when I get a phone call in the middle of it. Rudy is your old guy and please tell me that Richard won't be one of the final four?

Hey Oddish,
I'm really hoping for Richard next, too. I about yelled when his rope burned first. Thought one of the women would have that one for sure.
I don't think the jury will let Richard win.
