Whatever gets you down the track, tegan.
Irene, I can't believe what krs just said. It's like those celebrities couples, where you see one on a talk show saying how great they are together, it's forever, blablabla, and then the other one goes on Letterman 12 hours later to talk about the...

So some might think, Irene. Others might not. I think it was an announcement. Just like on Letterman, and WE WERE THERE!
I love it when the RT gets exciting like this. The only thing better is those puppybreath threads.

The one thing lacking for these poseurs effete, try as might, and unavailabe through surgical intervention, is that marvelous innate qualification called intuition, eh Irene? You of course are correct.

This reminds me of the time I was chatting in a restaurant with my oldest childhood friend. We were about 5 minutes into a conversation before we realized we weren't talking about the same subject - she was talking about the pork chops and I was talking about people coming through the doorway. We often took shortcuts in conversation and were rarely on different wavelengths as we were that day.

I think I should read a whole thread before making a joke. But I still think men age a bit better than women.

Goodnight, Irene. (Bet you get plenty sick of that.)
krs, I'm glad you brought up medical topics, since no one's picked up the ball on sex and you usually put such an intriguing spin on science. I expect you're well up on the news that one researcher thinks that functions of intelligence are seated in the lateral frontal cortex, left hemisphere. Positron emission tomography was used to focus on the location of Spearman's "g." The findings are being contested, of course, but it does lead to the possibility that an attribute of psyche or intellect now crudely termed "intuition" could one day be located in the brain, and at some point, even transplanted. Who knows, krs--it might turn out to be old Descartes' seat o' da soul, our friend the pineal.

I can neither confirm nor deny rumors, though I can join with many others who have made note of one poster's big mouth.

James.
Now I am not about to read this thread. I read the first couple of posts. I have to ask, James, were you not just in another thread advocating the buying and selling of women's bodies? So I must assume that there is something wrong with women who display themselves for free...but it's ok if an innocent ebay seller is profiting from it.
I don't get it.
I think it's equally degrading...well not really "equally" but similar.

Terri, please post a link to the "other thread."
Edited to say nevermind, I found what you have to be referring to: jamesoblivion's monstrous endorsement of freedom from restraint of speech or trade. WAY TO GO, JAMES!
However, splat if you must. We're mucho tolerant here, on Tuesdays.
