Simple question.... If I am a bidder on Ebay, what incentive do I have to check out other auction sites? Hmmmmmmmmmm

The problem with Ebay is they have gotten greedy. Their fee model is forcing sellers to raise their prices until eventually there will be no bargains. At that point Bid auctions will be passe' . So bidbids maybe be correct, Ebay "is gearing up to become a fixed price marketplace".

The only possible incentives are if the eBay bidder collects very rare or hard-to-find items. Many buyers always scan the third tier sites looking for bargains such as rare items priced like ordinary items due to unsavvy sellers.
