Congrats on your new message board at Top Notch Auctions. I was eating breakfast and broke down and decided to read a little bit at the Moo. It was the same old negative detractors tearing down any new idea and getting mean and dirty. Reinforcing the conviction to not read the crud at the Moo because the negative posters like SallyTuna, or whatever that person's name is, and the panting turle are typical of the reading found there. They'd argue with the devil himself.
Are they afraid the cafe might catch on? You go for it Hillbilly and John Barnes! Moo sucks ( sometimes ) and a new venue can only be a pleasant option. A place where sheep can order the 'Alfalfa Special' and eat in peace. ( No Coyotes allowed )

Howdy bidsbids!! Well I still like the Mootropolis a whole lot. But I think Sal & a few others thought they smelled dead fish. I have nothing to hide from them. I told the truth and if they can't accept the truth. Then, ahem! a well you know. The Hillbilly Cafe wasn't created to be competition to the Mootropolis. It is a place for Top Notcher's to hang their hats. As long as J.B. keeps doing things to make it more attractive to Buyer's & Seller's I believe things can only get better. I have to admit the place does have a nice ring to it. I have been accused more than once of being the backer of TopNotch, but I can truly say that I don't have a dime invested YET!! See ya'll, Hillbilly

I listed a few auctions today on eBay and several on Yahoo. If you get hung up on reading all day at the Moo you get nothing done on the auction listing front.
I think Dimview is in heaven kicking the living crap out of the hornets nest at the Moo. If they had an ignore feature over there maybe they would learn that attention is what Dim craves. Craves like a junkie craves dope.
On the other hand there are people that are shy ... like this guy
I totally agree. They join in the fights and start a lot of it themselves, and then go around saying it's Mootropolis.com fault. They also add very little to NORMAL conversation over there (or here) for that matter.
Why do we need an ignore button at Moo? As many have said, if you have a problem with someone just ignore their post and go on. If you had an ignore button, you would never know what they were saying in the first place to ignore them. It's people who can't control themselves that need an ignore button to block out people.
If there was a violator that just pissed off everyone, then moderation takes control.

Ahhh!!! Land of the internet where everybody can hate somebody without shame or remorse. I just love it. It takes a lot to flip me over. One person tries their damndest to get me to fly over the edge. That would be Miss Sketer. The boards can be so peaceful at Bidville while she is working her new job. But!! She has to stop at one of my post's and try to foul the air. I can say for surely that if she got a second job Bidville would be heading for stardom. Hi Kodi!!! Yeah!! Sometimes everybody needs to take a break from the auction cyber routine. See ya'll, Hillbilly

Kodi Dubois is a few hours north of me. They are located on the lake effect snow belt. It is much like Alaska in winter lol.
Bidsbids if Dimview ever leaves the moo the place will go nuts with boredom!

BW, the one that would feel the loss of Dim from the Moo the most would be Patty. What a boring place it would be then. Then the BV brawlers would start slithering back to AW. Cuff might even break down and register! My gawd, what a horrible scenario that would be. I'd have to electrify my squeaky Welcome Gate and put concertina wire on top of it!
Please Dim, stay healthy and stay at the Moo.

Bidsbids
I’m starting to agree with you more and more. If Dim stays over at the MOO so will the bidville clique. It’s to the point that a person can’t even report a possible system glitch and one of the bidville clique has to jump in and make stupid comments about dimview. Maybe it’s better Dim & the bidville clique stay just where they are. Gawd help Patty she’ll need it.!
The funny thing is Patty called the AD/BB group a circus, just wait till reality comes crashing down and she finally realizes the Clique is worse.

I may have bad days, but sometimes (a lot of times)I cringe at some of the things posted "in BidVilles defense".
Some people may have a problem with me, and hey that's their opinion and they are entitled to it. But if I know I have acted like a jerk, I can go back when I am thinking clearer and apologize and admit I am wrong. My problem is, I try to "figure everyone out" and befriend them. That is not always feasible. Also I take everything way too personally, I sure need to get over that. Anyway..

Hey HillBilly ...
Fire up the old '49 Ford, load up the tanks with some of your shine, and get one of the Mitchum boys to drive it up to me eh. I spent a ton of dough on eBay last week and need some revenue

LMAO!! bidsbids, where the heck do you find all these cool pictures?
Buzz! What have you been up to, you have been invisible lately.
Kodi
BTW RE The TNA boards..we have been requested not to post any links to it on Mootropolis anymore. And a hint was dropped that we copied the Moo boards because of the Roadkill Cafe. That was made with Vulture in mind, but oh well! We shall see. Maybe we'll name it "Grips and Groans" (purposeful typo there, a friend at BV misspelled it that way once)

Hey Kodi ...
I'm still here ... been bidding so much tho that I haven't had much time to chat. Would you believe that today, May 8th, we are expecting 20 cm of snow! So much for the start of baseball ... back to hockey, I guess.
I have been following your discussions at the Moo ... keep up the Good Flame over there eh! Looks like old dimview is suffering from a "poor me" persecution complex ... her days are numbered ...

Let me tell the story, I can tell it all,
About the mountain boy who ran illegal alcohol,
His daddy made the whiskey, son, he drove the load,
When his engine roared, they called the highway Thunder Road.
Sometimes into Ashville, sometimes Memphis town,
The revenoors chased him but they couldn’t run him down,
Each time they thought they had him, his engine would explode,
He'd go by like they were standin’ still on Thunder Road.
And there was thunder, thunder over Thunder Road,
Thunder was his engine, and white lightning was his load,
There was moonshine, moonshine to quench the Devil’s thirst,
The law they swore they'd get him, but the Devil got him first.
On the first of April, nineteen fifty-four,
A Federal man sent word he’d better make his run no more,
He said two hundred agents were coverin’ the state,
Whichever road he tried to take, they’d get him sure as fate.
Son, his Daddy told him, make this run your last,
The tank is filled with hundred-proof, you’re all tuned up and gassed,
Now, don’t take any chances, if you can’t get through,
I’d rather have you back again than all that mountain dew.
Roarin’ out of Harlan, revvin’ up his mill,
He shot the gap at Cumberland, and screamed by Maynordsville,
With T-men on his taillights, roadblocks up ahead,
The mountain boy took roads that even Angels feared to tred.
Blazing right through Knoxville, out on Kingston Pike,
Then right outside of Bearden, they made the fatal strike.
He left the road at 90; that’s all there is to say.
The devil got the moonshine and the mountain boy that day.
(Written by Robert Mitchum, may he RIP ... for the HillBilly in all of us)

Kodi, I think Patty was never overly joyed with John and TNA. Sometimes people may forget that be in Moo is not a god-given right but a priviledge or hospitality gesture.
Linking to another ikonboard message center that deals with online auctions is a bit too much. Patty is too nice sometimes and I'm glad she put her hoof down.
Most search engines such as google or AltaVista have several search functions such as newsgroups and images. That's where many of the images on the Net can be easily searched.

bidsbids, I can agree with that! But, this should be an evenly moderated thing. The new "CraftnShop" Auction site immediately gave a link to their ikon board and everyone seemed ok with that?

Maybe one mention is okay? I wouldn't allow any clickable links to any other message boards if I was Paddy but would allow them to mention that there was a message board on the site. The way cliques are so easily formed it would not take much to lose a considerable amount of page hits, especially if Moo moderation got unfriendly or perceived as unfriendly by a large segment of the cow city.
The cow city is owned and operated by Paddy and she can run it the way she wants. Moooo.

Well I think Patty don't like me. She knows wallypog and she don't like me, if she did she would have put TNA in her other auctions links page and has not done it, even kenzy told her about it so she knows it is there. Another thing she might not like is the fact that TNA is doing better than the Cow:
http://www.sportcardshops.com/TheCow.htm
Then It did not hepl me when I tryed to help them out over there when I ask if they wanted to list at TNA and then the Cow could move them back to there site easyer that way. I tryed to tell them I was just trying to help but they don't like help.

I agree with you John that TNA www.topnotchauctions.com is doing better that the flondering AuctionCow. A few days ago over at AuctionCow they dropped the number of listings easily readable format ( maybe out of embarassment ). The site has become RussellJDS's personal store anyway. I have next to no confidence in AuctionCow ever doing anything significant in the online auction world.
TNA advertises and tries and I don't care how many AW users laugh at me but I say John Barnes is innovative.
TNA, TNA, TNA ..... better than the Cow!
