Well crowfarm other than reading this discussion board and reading all the nasty comments by you I also watch CSpan. Barbara Boxer was on and she said they didn't have a plan. Do you even know who Barbara Boxer is? They are waiting to see what the Republicans are doing. Nancy Polesi also said they didn't have a plan so what am I to think. Do you even know who Nancy Polesi is? You need to expand your mind and start reading and watching to see what is really happening maybe then you can contribute to the discussion with some sense instead of garbage.
In case you didn't read my thread about SS, Greenspan even says something has to be done and soon or you will never collect it. When the baby boomer's start collecting it will be down to 3 working to 1 collecting then after that it will be 1 working to 1 collecting. You will be working until your 70 in order to collect it, that is if it is still there. Be a little more knowledgeable about it instead of all your insults. You can never address the poster in a normal manor.
I will tell you one thing I do not read the Republican website or the Democratic Web site because they are bias. To post an article like that only shows the narrow minded poster. What do you think there would be Republican views on the Democratic web site. Get real.

crowfarm, every-time the L sisters Linda K and Libra63 can't defend this White House they both just start blowing smoke. They are so confused living in there little narrow minded LA LA LAND.
dblfugger9, I agree with you. Lou Dobbs is a very smart man but he is not my God. I really enjoy when he points out the difference between what this White House say and what it does.

libra won't listen to liberal/Democrat radio TO LEARN anything, expand her mind, because they USED to have on Howard Stern who talks dirty............but she thinks he's still on and you know libra....won't be ANYWHERE there's dirty talk......like the RT.

Here's a list of President Bush's 2006 Budget. The site, Citizens Against Government Waste, lists all recommended cuts AND spending proposals.
One of the recommended cuts I REALLY like is the cut to NPR and PBS.
Viewing the suggested cuts one can see they are made to issues that both parties will not like to see.
The Citizens Against Government Waste supports almost all of the spending cuts....and opposes almost all of the spending increases.

WASHINGTON -- President Bush's budget would keep federal deficits over $200 billion annually for the next decade and add $1.6 trillion to the shortfalls that would otherwise occur if his fiscal policies are not enacted, Congress' top budget analyst said Friday.
The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office said the president's budget would leave a 2005 deficit of $394 billion and a 2006 gap of $332 billion.
But the budget office noted that Bush's fiscal blueprint omitted the costs of overhauling Social Security, which some analysts have said could cost $2 trillion over the next decade.
Bush's budget also omits any new money for U.S. operations in Iraq and Afghanistan for 2006. The congressional analyst said to keep next year's military operations at this year's levels would probably add about $40 billion to the 2006 shortfall, pushing it to perhaps $375 billion.
By 2009, the deficit would be $246 billion, the budget office said.
That would fulfill Bush's goal of halving the $521 billion shortfall he projected for last year -- a projection that ended up being $109 billion too high. But it would not be close to cutting last year's actual $412 billion deficit in half.
Overall, the budget office said Bush's budget would leave deficits for the decade ending 2015 at $2.58 trillion, or $1.6 trillion over the $980 billion that would otherwise occur. The increase is mainly due to Bush's plan to make his already enacted tax cuts permanent.
Bush's budget projected figures only for the next five years.

I believe this dangerous woman and other people of her mind set want to tell other Americans what they can and cannot listen to. Hitler told the German people what they could and could not listen to and read. The Taliban also told the people (THEY CONTROLLED) what they could listen to.
I am listening to National Public Radio as I type. The music is great. I also listen to the Public Broadcasting System from time to time.
Sorry Linda K Public Radio isn't going anywhere. The American people wouldn't stand for it.
