Wow, you're good Crowfarm! Yes, I bet Linda is lying about the whole thing for attention. I wish I picked up on that from the beginning.

I can see her goose-stepping over the graves laughing her head off if the above is true.....has she got a brown uniform or just the white sheets?

I find it extremely sad that we can't even have a discussion that's not about politics....without crowfarm bringing her garbage/hatefullness/lack of civility into EVERYTHING.
SICK!!

I find it so dramatically (sighhhh) sad that we can't have a discussion without linDUH's trite "down with everybody who isn't me" philosophy rearing it's nasty scaly body to the light of day.......

Your right Linda. As I said in a previous thread it goes along for maybe two or three posts than a discussion turns ulgy. Language gets bad, then they can't type and then they get really angry and post in CAPS...
Now we have two screamers in here. Pretty soon we will need ear plugs.
If it was an indian grave they are sacred grounds. I wonder why the sellers real estate agent didn't do the homework to see that the house was fit for selling. Is the person that owns the house were they first owner? That would be some great research to do.

I have a better idea, lets see how long it goes before Crowfam finally gets it. It's allready started with several posters in here that share her own political beliefs turning against her. Damn Crowfarm, you are so pitiful.

Sad indeed Linda & Libra. You can't even joke around or it's taken as being serious and used against you in the next round of attacks. Just remember the entertainment value. Crowfarm needs to put on her rubber manure hat and sit in the corner until her husband calls her to make dinner or tells her it's time to get laid.

Welcome to Madam Maggie's Parlor... tonight you have your choice of 38 different spirits to communicate with...no long distance charge as they are only 6 feet away... Then for the ones that want a souviner... LOL...

Okay....My friend gave me a few more details about this grave yard's history - said she didn't have anymore information.
The problem they had finding out exactly where the bodies had been buried was because this was, at one time, an old family farm at that the contractor bought to subdivide and build homes on. She said the city didn't keep records for what they refer to as 'dedicated land' [decicated by farm families to use to bury their own]. It was not a city cemetary so was not regulated by the town/city nor did they record the graves.
And on the contractor he was not only 'fined' but was sent to jail or prison for doing this. This happened in either '67- '68- or '69 and my friend was told that unless you have the exact date and year they won't pull up any information that's been put on film. So...
They also checked the Historial Society's records...nothing found.
Then she also mentioned that there's another 'graveyard' problem that a small nearby town is facing. Guess they are in the process of building an expressway/bypass and DID come across an Indian burial grave yard. So...who knows how long that will take, if ever, to get that cleared up.
So...that's all she knows. I just thought I'd share this story as it was so unusual....least to me, and touched the life of a friend of mine. And when asking several people about whether or not it would 'bother' then to live on top of a graveyard she was surprised to hear how many say it wouldn't bother them at all.

kraft has a brain fart and says,"Crowfarm needs to put on her rubber manure hat and sit in the corner until her husband calls her to make dinner or tells her it's time to get laid.""
No offense, kraft, but I'm not you or any of the other 19th century women in here (like libra) ....My husband is NOT my owner...he does not tell me when or even if I should make dinner. And, since we're both adults we decide together when to "get laid".
So sorry, but now I remember you are very smart but, like too many women, get "dumb" when it comes to men.
Now, why should I sit in a corner.....?

I did forget one other detail. And that was this was all discovered when a granddaughter was visiting and found the graveyard no longer there. She went to city hall to find out where those bodies had been re-buried...and then all heck broke loose.
Also my friend was advised that should a bone surface, no matter how it did, the city could step in and decide they were going to dig up her whole acre, trying to get all the bodies out, for reburial. And she was told that even if they had to tear down her house to get any bodies that might be discovered under there as they dug to see....she wouldn't be reimbursed to rebuild or replace the damaged outside yard, bushes, trees, etc. That surprised me.

That's pretty interesting Linda. Is your friend going to turn it down for sure?

Thank goodness Linda. This is definately a story for the history books - I've never heard of anything close, have you? Tell her to go take a few pictures of the house and make a scrap book of everything so she can look back & have a good laugh.
Crowfarm, I think Nero heard voices, if you know what I mean. It could explain ALL of her posts.
