12 bands in all. Didn't get there--tickets sold way out in advance. Ponied up and saw it on PPV. The bands broadcasted were Fuel, Mobey, Our Lady Peace, Filter, Marcy Playground. And of course the peppers. The broadcast just had a hint of a great time had by all.
The kids had "a" day of weather and music.

edited to add-- I Love Cleveland!!! Wish I could get there 6 times a year

I've seen Bruce Springsteen about 30 times since 1976. I've enjoyed all his shows, but those old ones were the best!

I wish I had the chance to see Van Morrison in concert, but the show I most wish I would've seen is The Band's Last Waltz.

Mimi, Xardon,

Glad things turned out well and that the police force got compliments and yes, Xardon, it was that hot here today, too. We finally reached 90 degrees though it's seemed hot to me all summer. I hate hot weather.

I'm surprised. What no comments on Sonny and Cher? LOL!

Back on subject, my son is a parrothead. Goes to Jimmy Buffett's concerts whenever he is near.

jeanyu, LOL! You too JamesO!

They say he's from my day, sort of, but I don't remember him. I preferred Motown.

Ahhh--that explains it. There are so many 80's bands I missed doing the Mommything and I've got boys!!! It's Baseball and Soccer Time! Wouldn't trade a minute of it

As a fellow Pittsburgher, Jeanyu, I have to do the right thing and correct you. Its not "the 'Burg" but "da 'Burg"

I seen Bush in concert several years ago. They rocked. Dragged hubby along only to watch him sulk while I commented about how cute Gavin Rossdale was.

My favorite concert was when the Monkees did their reunion tour back in 1986. So much fun!

I'd give almost anything to see Faith Hill and Tim McGraw in concert together. Missed getting tickets. *sniff*. I'd loved to have seen Elvis in concert but don't think that is going to happen.

Guess I'm showing my age just a bit myself here.

Nothing much of the current batch makes me pay much notice. Rammstein is pretty cool. (a german industrial/firebug band - lol)

Pat Benatar did some great shows - but when she wasn't in the mood - It was a total waste of a few hours to see her.

Sisters of Mercy ("Vision Thing" - "Under the Gun" )

Ultravox - Does anybody else on the planet but me remember Ultravox???

But if I had the time machine - Any Simon and Garfunkel show just after the release of "Sounds of Silence" album. "For Emily . . " and "The poem on the underground wall" changed my life

If I had a really good time machine - The Coffee house of Gottfried Zimmerman in Leipzig in the year 1729 for the first performance of Bach's "Air on a "G" string"

Best concerts I've ever been to have been Tom Waits (3 times), and the Smiths (bout 15 years ago.) Wish I could have seen Nirvana. Kate Bush I just discovered recently. My boyfriend worships her. Very cool.
