Yup, after 12pole told me he loved me and sang those songs to me here he became my boyfriend and I moved to West Virginia and now I'm his love slave and he has me pole dancing in a strip club. Well bigpeepa, the screamer I for one will not get lost. But you never answered my question. If your highly educated son was in the armed forces and Bill Maher said what he did how would you feel? It is a simple question that has a simple answer. You don't have to be nice to me bigpeepa as I really think you are skum of the earth, cheating people and such.

So I am a snitch because I wrote ABC that I didn't like the names Bill Maher call the US Service men. No it wasn't this time it was the last time his show was canceled. Probably 2 years ago. That is my right and when someone like Bill Maher talks like that he is unamerican. It was his talk show. He seems to have a problem with the US military. I wonder if he ever served or was he a draft dodger.

I find it amusing that those who do the most childish insulting are the most concerned about being reported.
I asked a question none has answered. There is nothing childish about conducting ones self in an adult manner and letting those that need to know there are those who would attempt to ruin a good time for others.
I see examples "If someone cuts you off..." LOL again they are alone or with a friend and the other person can't hear them or if they did, what is your reaction if they forced you off the road or followed you to where you were going?
Seems there are those here who would like no consequences for their behavior and in real life there are always consequences.
I will also ask again and see if anyone can answer, if you SO comes home and you say something and their reaction is to slap you in the face, do you just ignore it and go on?
Insults are verbal battery, you probably wouldn't take it in real life, no reason to take it here.
You really should spend less time worrying about what is said to other people. I think once false accusations, false quotes, misleading statements, excessive smilie faces, and the like stop from both sides, so will the insults. Since that's not likely to happen, perhaps you should put the people you find offensive on "ignore". That is, afterall, what that option is for. Either that or find a tamer board to post on.
You can complain to Vendio all you want, but for the most part it will fall on deaf ears. I will admit that when I first started posting on this board and was very niave about it (five years ago), I did complain to Vendio about the rough talk, careful not to mention any particular person or thread, (sorry folks, but this was a LONG time ago). Their response was to put the offending parties on ignore. This is an unmonitored board. Since then, I have learned to enjoy the differences in opinions and the reactions to them. I'm much happier and calmer for it.
Why should you care what anyone here calls you? They don't know you. They aren't your friends or even casual acquaintances. You're far too sensitive for this board. You seem to need a monitored board.
Do I just ignore it and go on? Yes, I do. After a few choice words, of course. But then, the people I choose to associate with are adults and face slapping stopped years ago.

I think you will find I am a new breed of poster and will set limits for themselves. As I have said what you say to another does not concern me, what you say to me does.
I do find it funny your selective use of the word "adult". I thought that is what we all were here. I do get a laugh about all the juvenile comments such as tattletale. If you are assulted in real life you call the police.
