Linda_k talks about 'crude' and 'taste' yet she had no problem making a rude comment to logansdad one time about his ass and I believe she even said the word.
She also reveled in crude body orifice comments by another poster and became so titillated by them she defended him and encouraged him on.
So she's a fine one to pretend to be all high and mighty here when truly she's lower than the rest of us.

For the record, I have no concern about being reported or taking a holiday from Vendio if it's their decision.
My point is that things go both ways here and some of those who do the threatening are just as guilty of insults as anyone else here except they don't see it.
At least I have the guts to stand up and say that yes, I have reached my limits for tolerance on occasion and I've 'lost it' and insulted others. I'm not pretending to be all innocent and trying to put the blame for my actions on others.
WashingtoneBayer...I said on the previous page that you can't compare the degree of verbal confrontation that you will find here with a physical assaut on the street or as you have mentioned with a slap on the face. And you answer, "Sure I can, that's my right."
I would like to see the reaction of that police officer if you report to him that someone called you a "big fat idiot".
I find your admission of such sensitivity very unusual. Verbal confrontation goes with the territory on chat boards. Either learn to deal with it or leave if you find it so very offensive.

I beg your pardon Helen. I read many discussion boards and find many people that don't agree but are never said "cram it up your ---" and it is said over and over. Crowfarm thinks this board is an english class.
Bringing up logansdad was uncalled for. I am sure that since he hasn't been around for quite some time and only drops in occasionally he wants his name on this board again. I might be wrong but I know I wouldn't.
I was reading a discussion board about stem cell last night. It was college students and there wasn't a bad word said and there were lots of opinions tossed around. Some for stem cell and some not. They even talked about religion and no body posted the way they do in here. So you see there are discussion boards that have decent discussion unlike in here.
Someone said this was an adult discussion board, now where does it say that. As long as someone has a CC they can get a vendio account. I don't remember a age limit. But, may I remind you that this discussion board can be read without a vendio account, but they can't post.
And to you Cheryl I will report to Vendio if someone is stalking me, follows me around this board and then into the EO where this shouldn't be going on. I don't consider that being a tattletale I fell it is defamation of character. How would you like someone to do that? What if I went up to the EO posted something unrelated to the topic which is offensive then starts another thread about it. What would you do?

I should add to my comment above that I will be considerate of your sensitive nature when responding to your posts....not to avoid your threat to tattle to vendio but out of consideration for your personal problem in this regard.
Another fellow here was sensitive to having his name written in bold letters. He even started a thread about that.

Libra63, you tell me more about how you are not into name calling when you have no trouble calling others 'the stupid one' or 'scum of the earth' or 'witch' and a multitude of other insults on a daily basis.
You reprimand others here for their bad behavior and then deny calling names because you claim you have 'moral values' (which you hide behind each time).
What about my sensitive nature? Never mind. When you live with and are surrounded by big strong he-men all the time, you kind of lose part of that sensitive side.
I'd just want to tell ya something. In case you havent noticed, I think we like insulting each other on this board!
If you been following along much, we rock roll and rumble with each other until we are stupid!! - and then we all laugh about it.
I will say there are some limits observed; somebody's personal info, their ebaY business etc. and when somethings that may be considered too vile, the plug gets pulled on it. I understand how you feel about the childish stuff. But you either dish it right back out, or ignore it. Seems to me theres very few things anybody takes seriously on this board. And I understand your right to complain to vendio, but as the others have suggested - they probably have more business related things to do than what's going on over here. Maybe if you spend lots and lots of money with them, they'd care. I dont know.
But at any rate, remember if somebody really gets on your nerves, ,just use the ignore button and talk to those you'd like to.

I could go on and on, but this is too ridiculous, so I'll just say this: I'm not a congressman, I'm a comedian. There's nothing I can really do to help or hurt our troops (although anyone who's watched my shows or read my books in the last twelve years knows I'm a pretty ardent supporter of the military).
But a congressman, there's someone who can actually DO SOMETHING to help our troops. In fact, a case could be made that it's a lot more treasonous for someone in his position to be wasting his time yelling at a comedian. Shouldn't he be training his outrage at such problems as troops not having enough armor? Wouldn't that ACTUALLY support our troops more? And citizens of this country who claim to support our troops should write this man and tell him GET BACK TO WORK! DO SOMETHING THAT ACTUALLY COULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO SOLDIERS IN IRAQ!
And by the way, these "comments" were part of a longer, scripted comedy piece in the modest proposal tradition. I can see why administration supporters would want to deflect attention away from the gist of the piece, which was this: now that we can't meet our recruiting goals, maybe it's the people who were so gung ho for this war to begin with who should step up and go fight it. But of course it's always easier to distract people.
Finally, I would direct the Congressman to chapter 3 of my book "When You Ride Alone, You Ride with bin Laden." The accompanying poster shows a soldier, a cop, a fireman, and a teacher, and says, "We Say They're Our Heroes...But We Pay Them Like Chumps."
Maybe that's something else he could look into when he gets done with me.

I make NO rude comment to logansdad. He continually kept saying I was sleeping with my own son, a then serving member of our Armed Forces. His continuing statements were VILE. But of course, kiara defends HIM.
He then in one post, posted an icon of a rear-end..a butt that was read. Yes, at that point I said something must be wrong...his butt/rear was red. He had posted a RED butt/ass like when one is mooning another showing their butt.
But OH-how kiara can twist.

Hi Linda. I remember that thread. Didnt parkman or (somebody) make some body parts jokes? As I remember it, you didnt say anything or much; maybe just an lol, but the others were complaining about it? Trying to rip him a new one, if you will, for some stupid joke?
It really is like a circus here some days.

But kiara, especially takes the smilie icons I post and twists them to her own interuptions.....gives them NEW and ODD/different meaning...which as others can easily see....and she's not always based in ANY REALITY of any kind. It's always been the 'game' she plays here. Hasn't changed....she's just become more offensive herself, rather than just supporting the vile statements of others. pretty sad, if you ask me.
But to be honest...I'd taken logansport vile statements about me having sex with my son in SEVERAL threads. AND kiara and others who so defend their right to be vile, or support whomever they wish while they're being vile....only speaks to the lack in their own character....lack of their own self-control...lack of ability to speak to the subject rather than make it all personal....all in fun, of course, according to them.

helen - Maybe you and the other lefties who continually point out our soldiers were set to Afghanistan without proper equipment....just why that was. Might want to inform Maher too....
clinton was 'stuffing' our military budget with all sorts of health care items....making his military budget LOOK as those it was only decreasing by the 40% in cuts he made to their budget. $175 million dollars of 'stuffing'.
So put the blame where it should be placed - enlighten Maher. It was clinton's actions that left our military in the shape it was in when we went to war in Afghanistan....NOT this administrations.

As to your threats , dble, I actually am hoping that someone turns me in to Vendio for calling people weinies....after the staff gets off the floor from laughing their guts out I may be gone (but not forgotten) and I shall carry on in this world without this chat room.....OH, the anguish !!!!!!
