Oneday~~I was just curious. I have no problem posting here under my "real or recognizable" ID. I post nothing other than known truths or my opinions. It does not effect or taint my reputation~~IMHO. I no longer look at Bidbay as a source of income~~eBay is too easy and cheap to list on. And if a seller does not want my bid at Bidbay~~they can always cancel it and I'll buy it on ebay. BTW, auctiongallery as most folks know who post/follow the boards on Bidbay is a he. If you have 2000 feedbacks and a history with the boards on BB you should be aware of that...

People that have been on Bidbay long enough to have 2,000 feedbacks and are a established buyer/seller would certainly know that Auctiongallery2 is a man and not a woman!
I see alot smoke here and it doesn't surprise me!

denephew you have to understand something I do follow the boards on bidbay but does not mean I knew if auctiongallery2 was a female or male....as i am not interested in the gender of ppl just the attitudes over there and be rest assured I do have well over 2,000 feedback at bidbay....

coolvette you know yourself how easy it is to get feedback over there...it does not take long to get it trust me my friend...Everyone knows how quite it can be gotten...So now I am in doubt over on the AW board for posting that auctiongallery2 was a female...give me a break....please go pick on someone else....

in all honesty I can't say for sure I know who oneday is...but something tells me I do because of similar things stated to me both here and there.
Anyway, since I can't prove it either way I will just say this.
I can understand people using posting ID's.
As one who has been flamed extensively on those boards and ahem...you two guys have been apart of that...LOL...not saying I didn't deserve it I just know what it's like.
And I think it does hurt your business.
I know I am not well liked by the prize takers as I now refer to them...those are the ones who accept any and all tripe served to them by the head chef just to keep those digitial cameras coming.
Anyway, I think it hurt my business to a degree, and if I were to continue selling there now even if I was offering a great deal none of the prize takers would bid on any of my auctions because of my stance now and in the past. And that group consists of the majority of bidders/sellers on that site.
Funny with claims of 4 million members you always see the same names time and time again on feedback in contests listing etc.
Not to mention now with implied threats of litigation who would want to speak up against that site.

msgodrocks...I don't think that was the reason why.
I think there has been another bounty put out...can I confirm it...no...but after threats of litigation and Marcio a.k.a. eshop being the in house detective so to speak I think I can put 2 and 2 together.
I already emailed marcio telling him to email me with what information he might need to help make his job easier...LOL

Oneday~~I appreciate your insight. You should be more careful though if you're hiding from Bidbay, as there really are NOT that many folks at Bidbay who have over 2000 feedbacks that are all positive and who have had their personal information plastered all over the chatboards. I know I use words like speaking TRUTH...not lies and I've also had my personal info plasterd all over those boards. But my feedback is under 200~~and I do have a retalitory negative from a deadbeat seller. Off this thread now. Nice to see ya vette, MrFanini, auctiongallery, et al. ~~D

auctiongallery~~our posts crossed in cyber. Wanted to add that I remember well the bloated feedback thread. If you will remember, I bought two items from you during/right after that thread. I am also quite sure that 99% of my feedback is from folks who do not agree with what I have said or will say. I am sure my words may have killed some sales on Bidbay but to be honest I make ALOT more on the same items on ebay even with ebay's fees~~so I could care less. If Bidbay has such a small buyer base that stating what I think kills all my sales, then it is NOT the place for me to be listing at in the first place. The chatboard is a pretty small audience to be marketing items too don't ya think.

However, my point is that that small membership on the chat board is basically what is really moving that site along.
I guarantee you that a majority of the listings and bids going on there are done by that small but vocal minority.

My point exactly. So why invest the time...I finally stopped beating my head against the wall and WASTING time and MONEY on Bidbay when I stepped backed and looked at what it really brought to my life financially. I realized it was not worth it. One person can change things there with some money and a good advertising campaign~~that person is not you or I. I was not one of the founding members of ebay, my feedback is not in the thousands but I still make very good money selling there when I choose to. Yes, I could sit and trade real dollars and BB bucks back and forth all day long on Bidbay but for what?? I don't have to trade money back and forth on ebay~~my stuff sells even if I don't buy anything or if I post something someone doesn't like on the boards.
