My cousin went through something similar. He was on the rebound when he met this women nine years older than him. They started dating before the ink was dry on his first divorce. This older women already had two teenager daughter. No fathers to be found.

My cousin told this women he never wanted children and she told him if she ever got pregnant she would have an abortion. OOPS she got pregnant and of course didn't want to have an abortion. So next the thing you know they get married.....

After he got married he realized he made a huge mistake. (mind you, he didn't know her for more than six months). He left her and from that point on, his life became a living hell.

She told the court he did the following things: molested her teenage daughters, beat her, abusive the baby, took drugs, sold drugs, didn't give her any money....

Mind you no police reports were ever filed... Guess what? the court took her word for it. They garnished almost his entire check, she demanded supervised visits and got it. On the days he was suppose to see his son, he was never available.

My cousin couldn't afford to live on his own anymore so my aunt took him in. He ended up in the hospital because of his bleeding ulcers several times.

He finds out that the money he gives the his son goes to pays for $300 salon trips, dinners out, an expensive SUV. The banks statements don't lie.

Finally my aunt stepped in, got him an attorney and they finally went to court.

The judge took one look at the paper work and grilled his ex-wife on why she didn't file any police reports on a guy who did all those terrible things. The judge noted that my cousin has no record of any kind. He has been on his job for seven years and keeps getting promotions. The judge did not buy her story. So in the end, my cousin now has partial custody of his son and she can no longer pull her #*!@. It took a long time but finally he won.

It is great that your cousin was able to straighten out that mess. You mentioned one event that actually was the reason for having the matter resolved.

That event was retaining the services of an attorney. Until your cousin retained an attorney, he was behind the eight ball. Things turned his way only when an attorney was introduced into the matter.

An attorney, is a professional, and is not as expensive as we think.

I do not think an attorney had much to do with it. He had two before he found the right one. The judge in fact raised his child support payments by $100 because his last two pay subs had overtime on them. He rarely works over time.

He has to live at home with his mom at 36. He doesn't make enough money rent a room somewhere.

Now his ex-wife makes more money than he. She gets benefits from being an American indian, her own daughters are already grown and are gone.

She spends her extra grand plus on herself. The boy is wearing too small of shoes and clothes.

The judge didn't seem care, he just ordered my cousin to pay more. Now that he has custody you would think he would have to pay less.

My cousin has made some of the dumbest mistakes regarding women. Since he was a teen, he had to be with someone. When he got his first divorce, we told him take some time to heal. Did he listen? NOOOOOO. He got involved EX #2. When he left EX 2 he was dating someone else. Of course EX 2 found out and the really made her seek revenge.

His current GF has some kind of medical condition so she can't have kids. Hopefully he will take his time before he marries again.

So glad to hear things finally got straightened out. What a mess your cousin had to go through. The judge made all the difference. They vary so much in their opinions.

My brother decided not to do anything. This cop has him too afraid to. That's the problem. If no one does anything, they can get away with all of this. Me? I could care less. I'd turn his arse in so fast he would never know what hit him. I'm just a rebel I guess.
