"Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity"
Martin Luther King
...such as illustrated by posters here who refuse to look beyond their neocon inspired view of the world. They refuse to even read anything that contradicts their narrow, bigoted and fanatic mindset. And the really unfortunate aspect of this kind of ignorance is that it was shared by the average American who rallied around the flag of George Bush and supported a war against a country that had no connection to terrorism or weapons of mass destruction. Some were duped with lies and realize now that they were deceived and that their sons and daughters were killed and wounded for a Bush power grab. Some will never see the light.
And guess what, Bear....Bush used religion ---The Christian Religion -- to promote his political intervention into the Mideast.

Linda offers the bogus website, "humanrightsonline.com" to back up her claims...
But this is what I get when I visit the site... "HumanRightsOnline.com is for sale! $1,000.00"
Such a joke...

Here is one for you Bear....
Still doesn't apply to this topic, this one was a group of Russians attacking other Russians.
You asked for one example of an non-muslim terrorist in the past twenty years and that is what you got. Now you want to put all kinds of other stipulations behind it. Is that because you were proved wrong?
Absolute faith has been shown, consistently, to breed intolerance. And intolerance, history teaches us, again and again, begets violence.

President George Bush: "Over time the truth will come out."
President George Bush: "Our people are going to find out the truth, and the truth will say that this intelligence was good intelligence. There's no doubt in my mind."
Bush was right. The truth did come out and the facts are he misled Congress and the American people about the reasons we should go to war in Iraq.

His whacked out reasoning is evolving much like Bush's fabricated reasons for being in Iraq.

Hey all!
I don't have a single new comment to make about this overly nasty and drawn out subject, but I rarely ever see a thread make it to ELEVEN PAGES.
Wow!
