ahhh classic, game lover boy of my life here! The dearly beloved one just et' and is now unwinding by the tv. Soon to be snoozing in about 5 minutes. So much for the company. But what do you want when you have a closet full of furs to keep you happy?

I used to be on AOL for about 7 years-then I finally got rid of dial-up and got DSL and had to give AOL up. I do miss the chat rooms there.
I used to hang out in the MPOV-(the male point of view room) with the same name "classicrock" without the zeros. The chat room was always half filled with females which made it a lot of fun. The two things that were NEVER discussed were politics and religion.I made quite a few friends in there and some of us exchanged pics-which is cool-its nice to know what the person looks like you are talking to.You would email the pics to whomever wanted them as you couldn't put them up in a chat room for everyone to see.Of course you wouldn't do this unless you knew the person really well.You also had to be quick witted as in chat rooms the messages are instantaneous and if someone was breaking your chops you had to have a quick come back or stand there looking like a fool.When you have half a chat room filled with females the conversation always turned to SEX.Ya mention SEX in here and people treat you like you just came from a leper colony.
So DB if your on aol at night drop in the MPOV room and tell them classicrock says hello..I think you'll like it in there

classic, probably like everybody except Al Gore or something, I too started out on AOL and have been unable to give up my account. I only occassionaly use it. That chat land world is a whole nother thing. They have changed AOL so much, I dont even know what I am doing on there anymore and feel like I need to take a tutorial to do simple things.
Its funny but the same people who were in chat five years ago are stillthere. Some renamed. But they are friends with each other. Amazing to watch it in action.
I'll go to the MPOV and drop your name around. They will probably think I am you.
Will I need a rubber manure hat for protection? lol

yes you are correct-they are a lot of the same people there and I have made quite a few friends there, and some enemies.....cant imagine why-LOL. I was the "official" greeter in the MPOV chat room. Whenever a "newbie" came in
I would give them the "classic" line-if you just came in,I would say....
"Hey DB, welcome to MPOV,the best chat room on AOL.........ahhhhhh by the way bunky....ya got any naked pics???"
Use to crack most of them up,but some would get pissed off and call me a pervert-evidently they had my number right off the bat.There was one guy in there from Ohio named JIMBO who had a great sense of humor told us he lived in a trailer park. When ever he entered the room,I would announce "Hey everyone lets welcome JIMBO the trailer trash from Ohio,whose pumpkin on his porch has more teeth then he does",and he usually come back with a one liner that would crack me up.I don't know if anyone would remember me,since I haven't been in there since a year ago March-but if you go in there at night,I'm sure somebody in there will remember me.
