I agree Linda that for someone to tell someone that they should leave if they don't like it. is defending the behavior and i think that many here see it that way too. I just wish that they would get off their dead asses and step up to the plate and admit that they see it this way also.

Right now I have an important business meeting in a nearby city and have to leave for a few hours

there is a God, afterall.

-----------------

They could never do that....much more important to hold that 'party' line...rather than admit what's right and what's totally uncalled for.

I worked for this company one time where all of us employees, about 18 of us, felt that we were mistreated by management and we would sit outside of work at the end of each day drinking beer and talking about it but whenever we had company meetings me and one other employee would be the only ones to speak up about our concerns of mistreatment and it used to pisss both of us off that we were the only ones that had the guts to speak up.

I know, piinthesky, they play 'into' the 'enabler game' or 'chicken out' when it comes to having a back bone - in standing up for what they believe in. Because those who disapprove of doing so try to use that as their method to discourage others from doing/saying what they want to - like here, calling the OFFENDED/verbally abused ones the 'rat'. While NEVER speaking to the actions of the OFFENDERS.

Just human nature I guess. Some have stronger personalities than others do, some have more power of conviction than others do, some have a better sense of 'right' and 'wrong' than others do.
And when you're not the one that the abuse is directed to...many choose to stay out of it. But then those who want to defend the offenders come to their rescue. tsk tsk tsk

Do you really think I should be ratting to Vendio along with the rest of you over some silly name-calling? That's what you call backbone? Sorry, I don't agree and I'm not about to sink that low.

But like I said.... if you want to do it, go ahead. I understand.

No, kiaa, that's the problem, you don't understand. You're blind to accepting all sorts of vile, vulgarities and then YOU refer to them as simple name calling. YOU are the one who defends this behavior by not only accepting it, but by making it less than what it really is.

There are limits to everything in life....and LD continuing to bring up me having sex with my son IS NOT what most with good character would find, AS YOU DO, just calling silly names. It's going WAY past the limits.

That you don't/can't see it that way, is understandable to me. It's a character fault of yours.

lindak, of course I understand what's happening here. We have a differing opinion on how we choose to conduct ourselves on this board. I don't know why you're flaming me over what someone else did months ago when I've said for years that I'm only responsible for my own actions and have no control over what others do.

So I advise that you settle down a bit and just accept the fact that I am not a Vendio snitch even though you are.

09/06/2005 ) Ed Schultz Adopts a Family of Hurricane Katrina

September 6, 2005 Fargo, ND: Radio talk show host Ed Schultz and his wife Wendy returned to Fargo, ND from Gulfport, Mississippi by jet today with two families left homeless by Hurricane Katrina. The trip, which Schultz calls his Direct Response Rescue Mission, marks the first ‘adoption’ in his Adopt a Family of Hurricane Katrina effort. The rescued families will live in North Dakota until they can get back on their feet.

Schultz traveled to Gulfport on Sunday with engineers from the 119th North Dakota National Guard where they met with hurricane refugees. Two families gratefully accepted the Schultz’ invitation to return to Fargo. The families – a mother and two teenage children and a mother, dad and teenage daughter - were in New Orleans during the evacuation and moved to a church in Mississippi. They were left homeless by the hurricane.

Ed Schultz is urging all Americans to open their hearts and homes to the hurricane victims. To help with expenses, Schultz is pleased to announce the creation of the Ed Schultz Adopt a Family Trust Fund. Contributions to the fund will be used to pay travel and other relocation expenses for hurricane victims. Donations to the Ed Schultz Adopt a Family Trust Fund should be sent to:

Adopt a Family of Hurricane Katrina Trust Fund
c/o Ed Schultz
1020 25th ST S
Fargo, North Dakota 58103

Schultz has already set up multiple shuttle flights to bring Katrina victims back to North Dakota and Minnesota and is ready to work on other destinations. Information on how to Adopt a Family of Hurricane Katrina is available on Ed Schultz’ website at www.edschultzshow.com, Ed will share more details when he returns to the studio later today with live stories from hurricane victims and his Direct Response Mission. The Ed Schultz show airs on 100 stations across the country from 3:00 to 6:00 ET, or as posted by the station. Visit Ed’s website for stations and streaming information.

Special thanks go out to Odegaard Aviation and Tall Towers Aviation for providing a jet and pilots to give displaced victims a way out of their despair to a temporary home in the upper Midwest with the Adopt a Family of Hurricane Katrina program.

Pilots Toby McPherson and Lyle Andvik flew Ed & Wendy Schultz and the hurricane families on the first rescue mission from the devastated area to Fargo, ND. """

Fargo residents have already provided these families with furnished apartments and transportation....what great CLASSY people! They did not judge these hurricane victims nor laugh at them...just helped them!
