Hi everybody. I've been taking a break from selling and, as a result, from Vendio too.
How've things been with you all?
Me, I've discovered hold'em poker and have been playing it constantly online. Work has been extremely hectic as we get ready to move into our new building next month. And I've been luxuriating in the air conditioning I had installed this summer--what a difference it makes! Gypsy Rose Lee, my naked dog, especially likes the climate control, , and will, I imagine just love the central heating I also had put in come winter. Oh, yeah, and I've managed to lose 25 pounds. Yes, I've been busy.
Hope to be around this site more now.

Let me be the first to welcome you back bunni! Not much has changed. Some old hands have disguised themselves as new posters, but that's about it.

Hello bunnicula, i'm new here. Where online do you play hold'em poker? I've been playing at pacificpoker.com but i prefer the seven card stud.

Hi, Twig!!
piinthesky: I play at http://www.holdempoker.com . You can play for free (Play money) or you can play for cash. Besides hold'em they have Omaha, 7 Card Stud, and 5 Card Draw.
What I like is that they have micro limit tables. I'm both cheap & a coward, so 15 & 30 cent blinds are perfect for me. Of course, if you're more adventurous you can go on the big limit tables...

I like the 25 cent 50 cent 7-card stud betting tables with a 10 cent ante. Once in awhile i'll play the lower limit tables though but they just don't seem to have as much action.
I like your sig line.

Thanks. Though I'm thinking of changing it, as I've had the same one for quite a while now. Thinking of going to a previous one that, for some reason, drove people up the wall.
Me, I like the low, low, LOW antes--if I lose I don't feel so bad, but when I win I'm thrilled. But that's just me.
I've looked at other poker types, but hold'em attracts me the most.

I think i would like the hold'em if it were in person because online you just can't get a read on your oponents as to if they are bluffing or not. With 7-card stud there's no community cards and everyone plays/gets their own 7 cards so getting a read isn't as critical, imo.

well, it's true that you don't have physical tells to rely on, but you can tell a lot by how a person plays.
