The only one left that I see on a consistant basis posting garbage is RL.
Enough said. Not worth anymore time on that one.

That's funny SC.... I thought the exact same thing about you on the very first read.

So there isn't much of a market for recipes at BV? Too steep maybe?

Sure the price was too steep, and there is no brand name in Bidville. 99% of ebay buyers never heard of the place, and once they visit the site most would scoff at the behavior of their users. I would sooner see yahoo pull the plug before letting that junk back on.

Well, it took less than 1 minute to prove you wrong. Looks like BV has 728 brand name watches, and I'm quite certain that's just the tip of the iceburg. I looked in mens clothing and accessories as well and saw numerous brand names.

Do you drink Evian? I bet you do. It's a brand name water in case you don't. Now read it backwards

728 brand name watches?

It's not the quantity but the prices that count. You can be sure those watches on BV cost the bidders on average much more than they would on ebay. Bidders see the high prices on BV and leave, never to return.

Can you just image that people do not want to get a name brand watch at a steep discount rather than paying much more at BV. What's the world coming to these days.

Tooltimes what she doesnt tell us is the lackluster sell-thru rate for the watches. Since August 22nd there have been 4 sales, one a deadbeat. A prime example of the stagnation of low quality items at bidville.

In a related note is seems some people enjoy ignoring seller terms, and leaving negative feedback. Why would someone bid knowing the sellers shipping price, and then complain about it?

Stunt 80436 Titanium Navigator Watch $109.98 at Ebay

Stunt 80436 Titanium Navigator Time Watch With Calendar
$109.95 at Bidville

Am I missing the "big" Ebay discount here?

Of course, I realize this is a very small sample, but then...you guys are best at forming your opinions from extremely small samples, right?

We must also remember that BW always fails to mention the many sellers at BV who are happy with their sales there, and oh yes, the part about new members still joining the site on a somewhat regular basis. (Most announcing that they have just left Ebay or Yahoo, due to being unhappy with the site/sites.)

One still must wonder why it would bother a person so much that another person is happy with a sale, whether it be for a nickel sports card, or a high dollar antique.

Mind boggling, for sure!

Yeah, a little.red.hen told me that the sky is falling, the sky is falling at BV, but just like these posts I take it with a grain of salt, just as everyone who bothers reading it should. Like I said, 99% BS.

Good to see you Yellowbud, and thanks for pointing us to the truth of the matter.

Lackluster is a word that dim uses a lot. Be careful or you'll blow your cover BW.

It would not happen anyway tooltimes, because 99% of bidders dont know bidville exists thanks to ed's non-advertising campaign. That could explain all the disgruntled sellers posting on the bidville boards, and the lackluster 1% sale rate.

One example of a three cent difference on a watch. There are probably fifty examples of steep discounts but they post the one with a three cent savings.

A sad set of posters in the form of RL and YB.

Hey now, it seems to work for those of you who post ONE example post from a disgruntled Bidville seller, as opposed to fifty examples of happy Bidville sellers.

You know how it goes...what's good for the goose,etc...

Tooltimes its impossible to compare bidville to ebay. The only bidders on bidville are sellers due to no advertising. For example the watch on bidville had only 3 page views. Bidville isnt going anywhere in the future.

BW, does this mean you are going to stop the "impossible" task of trying to compare Bidville with Ebay, and Yahoo? Are you really, finally catching on? Most BV sellers have always known the difference, and are obviously there BECAUSE of those differences. I'm surprised it took you so long to figure it out.

I didn't realize that most of my buyers are sellers at BV! They don't come up on the seller search. And most of them, too, will be so surprised to find that out! They'll be amazed that you know things about them that they didn't even know.

You seem to have such an "inside" grasp on everything.

And on another note, buyers are wanted at bidville. Check message boards for details.

I agree. Register and read the BV message boards. There's a beauty called 'Lets define the word HYPOCRITE' in the cafe or the 'I`M OUTTA HERE' thread also in the cafe.

Tooltimes all hell is breaking loose on the bidville boards. Finally some people are waking up and smelling the coffee. The diehards are dying off fast. How can these poor people expect to sell anything when there was no site advertising? Only a fool would pay their membership fee, which has no benifits!

There's another featured seller today that has been with BV for almost two years without a single feedback. A case of warehousing?

There was one yesterday that left ebay to sell at BV, who seems to be doing just fine and is happy to be saving so much in fee's.

Tooltimes I would say yes the seller is most likely warehousing his low quality items. Some users told me there was a long site outage yesterday, and never a word on the announcement board. I think its soon time for a "watchdog" group to monitor the way users are being treated, something like TAG.

There never was an annnoucement of the verification becoming bi-annual instead of annual either. Does BV send out a letter or email telling sellers their verification is going to expire soon or do they just hit their card without notification?

If you actually were anyone of importance what you say might be regarded as serious conversation. Since you are nobodies you are really just wasting time and space with your meaningless banter. You sit around pulling each others chains as though someone is actually reading what you have to say. Do you chase your tails too?
